This is definitely the best acoustic version of this song I've heard. Amazing. I love this song. My worship team and I do it all the time. Thank you guys for posting this. So talented!
Você cantam muitoo bem..que Deus abençoe grandiosamente as suas vidas! Fiquem na paz!!! You muitoo sing well .. God bless your life greatly! Stay in peace!
@risticassabaum You can check out the tabs for the other guitarist by referring to the blog post in the link given in the video description. The 2nd guitarist's part is separated by the word "OR". Hope that helps!
Hey, I love your instructionals. I use them all the time to get new songs for leading worship. I really appreciate what you do. Question though, I just got another guitarist. Is there any way you can post something to help out with what a backup or electric guitar should play? I know that's getting into music theory, but for instance, what is the second guitar playing here? He looks like he's on the same capo... is he just picking? And how does he know which chords to play?
@erudite83 thanks for the encouragement! oh, actually, the original writer Mark McMillan uses "sloppy wet kiss". Thought i would follow that cause he's the original writer =) David Crowder Band changed it to "unforeseen kiss". Guess it sounds less offensive? heh
@lotteboyhk Usually, I (playing the second guitar), try to capo the guitar to play a different set of chords (although still in the same key). This gives a fuller sound to the song. For the plucking, take note of the beat of the song and pluck according to what sounds best to you. Also, try to play non-standard chords which sound different (e.g. A2 instead of A major)
Hey Daniel, I love your music, especially when you add a second guitar and you harmonize with your brother. Thank you and God Bless! Oh, and I just want to point out that the lyrics are "Heaven meets earth like an unforeseen kiss" instead of "Heaven meets earth like a sloppy wet kiss" =P hehe
heyy ! do you mind giving me some tips on what chords to use for a second guitar ? i can't seem to find anything on the internet . thanks in advance =]
Hi, the chords if you were to play without capo would be Bb Gm F Eb. I would suggest to play this song with a capo because it makes it much easier. Either that, or play this song in a different key, like A.
great harmony and playing guys! Keep up your ministry, i know you make God proud!
PTL Praise the Lord! One of my favorite praise songs :)
