I remember last week when I saw the episode title and I was like "Didn't Toudou call Gojo nonstandard when he did Purple?" and I went back and checked. Lo and behold, it's the chapter where Gojo uses Purple!
But yeah, even before Purple, there was Nanamin's interview and Itadori basically equalling his world record, Toudou's Boogie Woogie finally coming out and of course, we can't forget a certain someone making her anime debut this week.
So let's talk about it!
*1. No brain, just one thing: Purple*
I remember seeing Gojo with purple lightning around him in the opening and that was probably the most hype thing alongside the hints to current arcs and Okkotsu reveal.
Gojo's limitless technique is all about controlling space. We have seen what Red does in episode 7, it violently pushed Jougo to the point that he was thrown into some trees.
Well, Red is Blue but instead of powering the technique with cursed energy, you are powering it with reversed cursed energy, which is implied to reverse the effect of the technique, so Blue pulls people in while Red pushes people out.
I will not be doing how Blue works because the explanation will come later in the series and I want to keep these spoiler-free, but if you do have any questions, feel free to ask and I will try to do it with the least amount of spoilers possible.
And what happens when these oh so different techniques merge perfectly?
You get Purple, which literally DELETES the opponents.
There's a reason why Gojo's the strongest sorcerer. The guy acts all cheerful, but instantly ends the battle the moment he comes on the battlefield.
*2. Boogie Woogie and Toudou's teacher*
Boogie Woogie is my favourite alongside Ten Shadows Technique just because of its sheer simplicity yet powerful and effective application in the hands of someone like Toudou. The guy seems like a brains over brawn guy, but his strategic thinking and analyzation proves that he isn't a first grade for nothing, we've all seen Nanamin realise that Yuji could injure Mahito from a simple drop of blood coming from Mahito's nose.
Swapping places with a clap of the hands with anything with a certain level of cursed energy, including cursed corpses and cursed tools. It really doesn't need a heap of explaining like Gojo or Megumi, but the versatility is up there.
Also, at the very start, we have the anime debut of Toudou's teacher!
I will not be spoiling anything about her, but she is a series favourite, and you can see that he got the entire asking your type thing from his teacher. There's a reason why the episode he debut in was called "Boredom". He was bored most of his life up till he met his teacher, and was seen fighting a 'boring' guy (Megumi) in his debut.
She is voiced by the fabulous Noriko Hidaka, known for Near from Death Note, Kikyo from Inuyasha and personal favourite of mine, Shalnark from Hunter x Hunter. She definitely did a good job voicing Toudou's teacher.
*3. The world record is met!*
I did hint to Nanamin's ability to perform Black Flash, but yeah, Itadori equalling his record is saying something to how much of an improvement he has went through during the Kyoto arc. Nanamin really was built for Black Flash with his Ratio Technique.

Next episode, we'll be wrapping up the Kyoto arc! The following arc is very short, with only 9 chapters, so they can easily cover it with the remaining 3 episodes with the rate they went in the Kyoto arc, but has plenty of introduction to certain themes, great fight and developing the main cast, especially a certain someone doing a certain something. I will not spoil the arc title since it does have hints to what it is about.

Very astute explanation! This actually also explains as to how Gojo can “float” or “teleport”.
When he floats, he brings forth infinity that exist between him and the ground or the air whatsoever which is the principle of his Red attack. It’s also the reason why Jougo wasn’t incapacitated when he was hit with it, instead he was blasted away bcs Gojo brought forth infinity, turned it into a ball, and blasted it off into Jougo. Instead, Jougo was only beheaded when he was finally in the infinite void where Gojo has the full control of everything.
What about his teleportation? The principle of Blue works this time. Instead of bringing infinity forward, he brings it backward. He removes all infinity that exist between him and a subject, in this case/episode, between him and the coat-rack guy(forgot his name). Hence, it looks like he’s “teleporting”. It is also how he got Yuuji easily when he wanted to teach him Domain Expansion and how the coat rack guy ended up incapacitated when he approached.
Really good points you made. We were also thinking about how he could float or teleport using infinity, so his range with his infinity is literally infinity. So overpowered XD, we hope to see one day a match for Gojo maybe Sukuna? As hinted by Itadori asking him who would win?
@@clarentknight In terms of storytelling, Kyoto arc is actually a pretty weak arc in that regard. There is still another arc the Kyoto one that is very short but does some great development for certain characters in season 1.
As for season 2, there is technically an arc between the next arc after Kyoto and the Shibuya arc as well as the prequel which actually has a lot of information that is essential for understanding the Shibuya arc.
Both of them are pretty short, so we'll definitely get Shibuya arc in Season 2. It's basically everything that the series has been building towards since the vs Mahito arc. So yeah, even I am scared of the Shibuya arc, and I already know everything that happens!
@@rikkatsukiakari485 Yes, the 'teleportation' basically brings together the space between his target and himself. He has done this multiple times ever since the second episode against Sukuna.
As for the coat rack guy, he's actually pretty important for the next arc and he's called Juuzou. The guy with the hand sword said his name this episode!

Gojo can use reverse cursed technique to refresh his brain from time to time, he limits his power by using blindfold, thats why he doesnt look tired
Also the fact Gojo has Infinite Curse Energy and Stamina (because of his Six Eyes).
@@shivi_yeahreally late but he doesn’t actually have infinite cursed energy although he probably has the most of any sorcerer in the series except maybe mechamaru. The six eyes gives him an understanding of both his own cursed energy and cursed energy in general on a level unlike any sorcerer, this allows him to very precisely manipulate his cursed energy in such an efficient way that his techniques cost an extremely tiny amount of cursed energy meaning he’ll pretty much never run out in a fight giving the illusion that he has infinite cursed energy.
The best part about this anime is that it actually shows the fight scenes. Most animes including seven deadly sins and dragon ball franchise depict the fights like a motion blur because it is "too fast for eyes to follow". But then you see Jujutsu and God of high school, that is a different league.

Honestly, the simplicity of his technique is what makes it so dangerous.
Add to the fact that this musclehead is actually able to utilize it with feints and to objects as well, you got a force to be reckoned with.
- Toudou's teacher.
I won't say anything about her since spoilers.
- Gojou and Purple.
The anime-onlys have seen what Red can do.
Blue will be further explained later down the line.
Purple is basically Red + Blue = Delete EVERYTHING in a certain direction.

OK for simple explanation or graspness of his technique or rather the forms of his techniques
RED:He exploits the basic form of infinity which is him manipulating space itself that's why he can't be touch because he's making infinite spaces towards him and his enemy just like how the real number 1 can't touch neither 0 or 2 because of the infinite fractions between them and what red does is it makes negative things go into reality like how negative numbers is usually impossible and it makes reality distort and repels every space/mass/matter on the point of release
Blue:The opposite of red except for repelling things it attracts things which makes kinda like a magnet but a billion times powerful and gojou can manipulate the point of attraction itself
Purple:Combination of both that except for both positive and negative things to exist it creates a hollow/imaginary technique/thing that destroys everything on its paths which means that technique is a space destroyer
And also what he did to that cursed user is he used his cursed techniques then compressed the space in between his limbs that made it rupture his bones because of the compression of space itself and BTW the one that appeared on the back story is his mentor
there is also one variation to cursed amplification blue which he can use to control everything in a given space

Gojo's "infinity" power twists space. He 'teleports' by making the distance be nothing, makes himself always just out of reach, or twists directions to deform his enemies. It's basically like if Thanos had learned to properly use space stone.
Red is a power that repels things kind of like pain’s move from naruto. Blue is a power that pulls things together when the dude who tried to make clothes racks attacked Gojo, he used blue and crushed his arms. Purple is the combination of both that is basically a imaginary mass that completely erases what it touches(kind of like a hakai from db but it’s kind of like a beam Gojo fires) and his domain expansion traps people inside and sends infinite information inside their brain overloading it causing them to be paralyzed. Just wanted to explain his teqniques to anyone who is confused about it since they do a bad job at explaining his teqnique.
And his “infinty” where his opponents not their attacks can touch him is basically the concept of how a number can be divided an infinite amount of times. So the more they move closer the more they slow down to the point where they can’t reach him. It’s automatic and chooses what can reach him based off of their mass, speed that it’s headed towards him, shape and cursed energy. He also has a close ranged teleportation(he used against sukuna when he clapped his hands and used it in ep 20 when he also clapped his hands

Itadori actually did 5 Black Flashes. Remember the scene when he was drooling? That's the first hit. Then the 3 consecutive hits that Todo was talking about is the hits in this scene, and then followed by the kick that is also a black flash. Meaning he surpassed Nanamin record.
