The medium to firm surfaces are excellent for developing balance and intrinsic foot muscles that support the arches of the foot. The configurations for climbing and sliding makes the Nugget an excellent indoor play space for young children during times of quarantine or cold weather. Thanks for making this video! We just ordered one for our very hyperactive ADHD boy. He has some sensory & kinesthetic needs and while our backyard is full of stuff (trampoline, ninja line, hammocks, saucer swing) we needed something indoors for rainy or cold days. I talked husband into this & now we are SO glad we got it! Our son loves building forts & jumping on the couch - now he has permission to jump & crash on his own couch!
Got the nugget for our at the time 7 month old. I would say that it very much helped him to learn to pull up and crawl. He LOVED it when we first got it. He is 11 months now and admittedly uses it less, but I have faith he'll use it more when he can walk confidently. Highly recommend it as an exhausted dad who uses it pretty often to rest after keeping up with the kiddo. Have it in Harbor color and love it.
We have two long haired cats, that shed a ton, and their fur doesn’t seem to stick on our nugget. It’s almost like it wipes off and doesn’t get trapped in the fibers of the nugget. I’ve been very impressed!
If you have a Sams Club membership they sell their own version called the Members Mark Kids Explorer Sofa for $180 and it is very comparable to the Nugget for a little cheaper. Plus if it’s in stock at your store you don’t have to wait for shipping which is nice!
We have a Golden Retriever and 2 cats and the Nugget almost seems to repel their hair. It's the one piece of furniture in the house that somehow isn't coated in a layer dog hair, despite the fact that our dog things it's a dog bed.
We love our Nugget and we also have Dewdrop! . Our son loves “hiding” in it when we make it as a fort. He also slides on it and absolutely loves it! If I had the space I would buy a second set. We had a pikler triangle but because of space we had to get rid of it. The pikler triangle would help them climb as they have to move their feet up on the rung of the ladder. It’s like having the outdoor playset inside. Some comes with slides and ramps too! Be careful which company you get pikler from because some are made poorly and I would worry about safety.
Love the nugget! My 9 month old is crawling all over it and using the triangles for standing practice. The pads are great for his inevitable falling. Creating forts and tunnels really makes a daily playroom not so boring for the kid. My OT wife was sure at first, but sees all the positives from an OT perspective.

The 2 pieces was a hit with my son while I was trying to get my hands on a nugget (before the wait list came out). For less than 100$ it is perfect to get your little one to move and be more stable.
I recently purchased the Sam’s club Explorer Sofa. At $180 it’s a great alternative to the nugget. I have a corgi and this dude sheds like crazy. But no fur issues yet.
We would love to get one but just don't have the space for it. I know it can sit upright against the wall but it makes sense to be able to use it to its full potential to be able to use it as a couch. Thanks for the video though! Always good to know if it's worth the hype!

My 3 year old is currently sleeping on his, for some reason he hates his toddler bed and would sleep on the floor so we moved his Nugget to his room. I’m planning on getting another one at some point to build some bigger structures for him to climb.

Legit thought it was overrated and overpriced at first. After using it for a year though, I'd say it was worth it for our family. We get a ton of use out of it and I sit on it all the time.

I don’t think nugget is cheap because they don’t do sponsorships..They just don’t need it when it’s in such demand. They treat their employees well and do a lot of charitable work. We are extremely happy with ours and have no problems with dog or cat hair! Only problem is our pets love to sleep on them. 😜
I overlooked the price - woof! It looks like they plan on retailing for $399 which is almost double the Nugget. And here I am thinking Nugget is a bit overpriced.

I got it for my 8mo to help crawling/pulling and literally in one day of playing I felt his gross motor skills were far improved!!!
