- Coming in today with just a short video. We got back to the woods today and checked out the knuckleboom motor. We got into it and found out its much worse than we had hoped for. We will probably have to replace the motor. We got out some pallet wood today and pretty much called it a day. We was getting alot of rain and it wasnt suppose to stop for a couple days. We will try again Monday. Hope yuns enjoy the videos. STAYCOUNTRY!!!

Can resleeve it , but should do all cylinders not just one . That’s rough when something like that happens. Puts a hold on some of the work and the wallet. Well can lay trees down be ready when fixed. Stay safe and stay country.

Sorry about the loader engine. I think I would try to put new sleeves in the engine. You boys are now young men hard working and nice looking.

@@alittleSouthernBrothersfind a engine machine shop and see if they can bore it out and put a sleeve in it to where you can use standard size piston and shouldn't be too expensive that way unless you can find a good used engine to drop in but hope it works out and isn't to expensive

Y'all make good videos. We ran a 4bta Cummins in a barko 160 knuckle boom loader for a long time, until it just lost its compression. Dropped in a reman engine and never needed ether again. Xlogger out.

Yall can replace the sleeve or have a machine shop replace it .. i had it done on one of my racing motors not long ago.
I am looking for you an engine glad to see another great video.
There's a good chance that the block can be repaired by a reputable automotive machine shop. The cylinder with a crack is bored out and a press fit thick wall dry sleeve is installed. That sleeve is then bored out to the piston diameter. The 4bt does not have replaceable cylinder sleeves. When rebuilding these engines the cylinders are bored oversize and matching replacement pistons are installed.
Sleeves,pistons ,and rings.....you can't kill a Cummins.....permanently

Put in new liners and piston kit. Refresh head also otherwise it will likely take to burning oil with the bottom end freshened up. Get a quality aftermarket kit you don't want that Chinese eemum crap.
