I will forever have respect and love for shaqs mom. I love her and that will never changed. Im from orlando fl where his mom lives and i worked at a Albertsons in windermere close to where his mom lived and there was a Albertsons i was a bagger so i had to bag groceries and then load them into peoples car. Well his mom came in and i just remeber her being so nice and patiant to me and asking me my name. I was super nervous because peoole kept telling me THATS SHAQS MOM DONT MESS UP and she saw inwas nervous but she made me feel so comfortable she was like baby take your time im a person just like you dont be nervous im in no rush, and then when i loaded her groceries in her car she gave me a 10 doller tip! Once again i will forever have tremendous love and respect for shaqs mom she is a good woman with a good heart

I Would have given the world to have a mother like this. Unfortunately it was not to be, but I am still standing. I spent a lot of years being angry but then I realized that she really gave me the greatest gift, by showing me how it should not be done. Being a loving mother and a good parent is my greatest accomplishment. Shaq, is a lucky man.

Every child born is special. Sometimes circumstances dictate that potential can’t be fulfilled. With a mum like this, Shaq was blessed from the get go. Same as I was with my mum. 💓
Moms like this are why the old guard of the NBA had so much decorum. She set the foundation for him as a man first. Though he had some bumps in the road, his foundation was strong and supported.
