Most people who go to Starbucks prefer the taste of the complex undertones or the strong body. Dunkin, on the other hand, uses a medium smooth roast with a very light body, leaving a different aftertaste and much smoother taste overall. However, a lot of people don't like Dunkin bc they taste the water and creamer more than the coffee or think the roast is too bland and not complex enough. In conclusion, Dunkin consumers usually prefer a hint of coffee in the drink or smooth flavor, but don't want it overall to be too overpowering. Interesting bit of info I don't know if true...American coffee companies buy beans from countries like Japan that that country rejects as they're not A grade. I haven't tried Dunkin yet, but am familiar with only the fufu drinks that I treat myself to at Starbucks. I just need a bit of sweetness sometimes.
