Magneto being Wanda and Pietro's father has been retconned a couple times in the comics. Most of the time it has been the case. In the MCU, they had to make a deal with Fox, which is why the MCU had Wanda but had to kill off Pietro in Age of Ultron but Fox had Pietro but not Wanda, also Marvel Studios weren't allowed to call Wanda a mutant. But now Disney owns Fox.
what gets me exited about Disney owning fox and the upcoming mcu movies dealing with the multiverse is it could allow for the MCU to introduce the Xmen universe.
The whole episode is just, "remember how Wanda's parents died, and she only had her brother to support her? But then he died and Vision supported her? But then Vision died, twice, and she had nobody?"
“For what is grief, if not love persevering.” This is honestly one of the best lines I have ever heard in not just tv but in storytelling period. It’s also the most heartbreaking episode of a tv show I have seen since the season 1 finale of The Flash. As a man who lost both his mom and then his home a month afterward I know exactly the pain she feels. An impossibly overwhelming feeling of loss, exhaustion, and isolation that feels like you’re heart has become a black hole, pulling in all of the light and hope inside of you until you feel endless nothingness. Wanda Maximoff has now become the most sympathetic character in the entire MCU for me. And for those of you who have also felt as much pain as Wanda has remember, you’re not broken, and you’re not alone.
I imagine once they introduce Mutants, there will be a variant of Wanda who was Magneto's daughter. That way they can also introduce a new Quicksilver. If you couldn't tell, Hayward was trying to manipulate Wanda into stealing his body because he was hoping she'd use her power to reanimate him. The workers down doing random things to his body parts were just there for show. At that point, he'd already worked at reanimating him for five years.
He said she took the body and showed edited footage, but he lied to cover up what he was really doing. The Vision in "the show" is just a manifestation of Wanda's magic.
Some of the power from the Mind Stone is in Wanda. That's what they were showing in that flash back with Hydra experimenting on her. Within the "Hex" Wanda can create or rearrange matter, so she recreated Vision and powered him with the energy of the Mind Stone that is inside her.
I think y'all mighta missed that the leader of Ag's coven was her mom. I don't think she was being entirely insincere in her pleading to the coven- I don't think she *wanted* to kill them until they forced her hand, which is why she also tried sparing her mom until the last minute (note that her mom alone was not being drained at first).
Think about how many episodes over how many shows they've both been on constant edge expecting a sudden explosion to happen out of nowhere at any moment... and Marvel finally got 'em.
I think the problem with Agatha is that she just doesn't know when to stop, with just about anything. And the problem with Wanda is that she just wants some peace and a happy, carefree life.
there are many origin changes, in some comics wanda and Pietro were raised by a beast woman and later adopted, so the sokovian parents were not their biological parents.
I think the problem with Agatha learning Dark magic especially when she wasn't deemed ready to is that not only was she dealing with powers before she learned to control them, but also she may have risked drawing attention to her coven through this practice of magic she had no control over, and therefore risked their exposure and possible destruction by the humans so she basically put herself above her coven.
Also the reason Wanda was able to make another version of vision is because remember when she absorbed some of the power of the mind stone, visions Conscience was made from the stone that’s why they had a connection
It's odd that people are answering you ladies' questions about this episode, but it looks like these were recorded a while ago, because your reaction to the Loki finale is already out, but in this ep you're wondering what the Loki show might be about once it's released (along with TFATWS).
