For tall/athletic men More ways to get the cropped silhouette for men are to buy garments that are naturally cropped like Harrington, Bomber/varsity jackets. They hit at the natural waist not hip. Besides tucking in, getting your shirts hemmed to hit your belt line is also good if you don’t like to tuck.
Admittedly I thought the video would highlight mens' garms on women! 🤦🏾♀️ Quite an insight nevertheless 🤔 More mens videos please! As for the bag-shy geezers, the young lads at my church are boldly sporting man-bags and so maybe it is an age thing 🤷🏾♀️ Thanks as always Chidera 👍🏾
Oo, that is a good video idea, too! I definitely do wear a lot of menswear! I love that they wear bags, might be an age thing for sure 🤔 Thank you as always! 🥰
This was insightful! I have been dedicating so much thought to my own wardrobe and presentation but I feel like I am leaving my husband behind, lol. He is not quite as thoughtful in this area, but he is ALWAYS impressed with my looks. I am thinking to start with your recommendation for knits first and add a few of those in neutral colors. I am also thinking to add a crossbody bag, the fanny bag type, maybe just a black leather one for him to give him a little bit of edge, and also get all that stuff out of his pocket (AND out of my bag, because he ends up asking me to hold things he brought out the house, smh). I have to play this right so that he doesn't feel like I am trying to give him a makeover lolol. We do have different styles, his is much more conservative, classic and not as trend conscious, but I can tell when he feels like his look has more swag then usual. One more thing, he wears his denim trousers with a belt just a bit below the waist (maybe 3 inches in the back), I worry about giving him a cropped jacket (loved the recommendation to get a oversized women's jacket). I think we will have to make sure that he has briefs that are neutral so that if they do show, they don't ruin everything, lol. This video was clutch!
Thank you! I'm glad you found it insightful! 🥰 Knits in neautral colours is a great idea, would also help with not overwhelming him with the new pieces. 😂 they never want to carry a bag but always want somewhere to put their things. A black leather bag is definitely a versitile choice! If you want him to try a cropped jacket without his underwear peaking through you could have him pair it with a slightly longer top, as he'd still get the feel of the crop from the jacket, or have a tucked top or vest under, neutral briefs work too! Thank you for your comment!!
I've been doing this since 2017 but nonetheless good tips for a newbie dabbling into style. I live in a small town and 99% of guys are still on the full tracksuit/skinny jeans wave (you'd think it's 2014 lol). I stand out like a sore thumb but I don't mind.
ill never understand how people into fashion across the board seem to unanimously clown on skinny jeans. yes its true most ppl dont wear them correctly but writing them off with the same old arbitrary stance of wide pants being superior doesnt make you inherently more fashionable.
I definitely still wear skinny jeans and believe they can be styled nicely, mentioning a straight leg silhouette as an alternative is just to open people up to more silhouettes, and they're generally easier to style. But I definitely agree there's nothing wrong with skinny jeans (when worn correctly, like with everything), but there's a world of variety
Buying a women's jacket for the crop is an interesting idea 🤔 I think the easiest way to show off proportions is just tucking your shirt/sweater into some high rise pants. And just buying high rise pants can be a good first step for guys 😂
Yess! High waisted trousers & tucking is definitely a great way to show proportion, too! And it gives a much cleaner look. Thank you for your comment! 😊😊

I love that! Definitely ahead of the game! Hopefully everyone catches up too. Thank you for watching 😊
@ You got a new sub! It may not be menswear but I’m sure there’s some elements I can take from your vids🙏
@KatekyoKen Thank you! Welcome to the channel! I'm sure you can! 😊😊
Your jacket is too cool
Thank you!! Men's section 🤭
I have a question: as far as the crop top for men, does this apply to heavier set men(big and tall)?
Yes, for sure! A boxy crop will create a longer and slimmer frame!

This eats for the non binary’s too, def want to add more colors to my wardrobe

Spot on!! I always tuck. Some places that sell a boat load of high rise pants are ssense
No offense here but I'm not interested in what women think about what is good for me to wear.
Thanks for watching
