Hi Brad, does Homekit display each of these values (pm2.5, pm10, and VOC) as separate values? Or does Homekit just give an overall "air quality" value?
I like the look of these a lot! The displays are very nice…. Hmmmm where can I fit one! I have a Netatmo in the livingroom, Eve Room (thanks Brad) and some Aqaras on the way. Oh well? Who can have too many air monitors!
Hi bro i saw other users saying that the readings aren't accurate comparing to the old model. Did you update the firmware lately ? Are all the readings accurate ?
Hi Jeffrey. I haven't done an extensive test, but from what I've noticed, it's similar to my other AIQ monitors. The temp is usually slightly higher. I've downloaded several firmware updates since I got mine, so perhaps the issue others have noticed has been fixed.
I can see that there is a time display option but is it simply a screensaver or an actual permanent display option that can be set to display at all times?
Great video, Brad. I'm still on the fence on the Lite monitor. If the other monitor that has VOC comes out in HomeKit, I'll give it a serious look. For now, I am waiting on Eve to fulfill its promise of bring Thread to all of their devices, including their Air Quality sensor.
Hi Frederick - it's too bad that the TVOC sensor is missing from the Lite, but I do like the Co2 and PM monitoring. Agree though - hoping Eve Room gets Thread soon!!
Great video. But can you explain more about how to resolve your adding-to-homekit issue with this device? How to get the correct homekit code if mine also got wrong code?
Hi Raul, if you think you received the wrong HomeKit code (I can't believe that happened again), you need to contact Qingping and give them Wi-Fi Mac (under setting in the Qingping app), so they can match up the correct code for you. Mine has been working great since I got the correct code and set it up.
Based on your review, I bought this air monitor myself. I had the exact same issue not being able to add it to HomeKit, same error regarding wrong code. Aqara however was not able to repair it remotely nor wanted they to give another code. For me a useless device and bad technical support.
I have 3 of the round ones in my home already about 3 months now and work 👍
That's awesome - glad they are working well.
Comprehensive overview Brad, very impressive. I've not heard of QingPing before, but I hope this the beginnings of a new player in the HomeKit market!
Are you still recommending this Air Quality Monitor after 2 years? Does anything else compare to it and was released more recently?

Thank you! :) Keep up the great work!
which one is the quietest ? is the TVOC measure of the non lite really important for home air monitoring?

So true Danny - an IAQ for every room! lol

Does it allow the user to set up and display time/date? Can it be used as a clock overall?

I want to get the qp lite but it doesn’t have voc. Is it important? Can you review the qp pro that has voc?

It seems that the company making this device is Qingping, so not related to Aqara. Maybe that's why you had a bad experience?
This video is great
Thank you!

Yes - very true Lawrence!
