Hecktown Volunteer Fire Co. was dispatched to a working dwelling fire on Nazareth Pike. Vigilance Hose of Nazareth was dispatched simultaneously for tower 5021.
I will never understand why a fire truck with a deck gun doesn't pull up to the house and unload the water they are carrying and move back while the other fire departments get set up with their hoses. I watch video of water trucks on construction sites with one operator spray water on dirt being moved or dumped to keep the dust down. The water shoots far, that one truck with only a driver could have knock that fire down real good.
