    It’s so easy to make, sure it tastes sweet and with a touch of savory taste which is definitely perfect to serve for any occasion. For those who want to reminisce about this old-school snack, here is the recipe …
    Hopefully, it will be useful.
    Ingredient
    ½ Coconut, half-aged coconut,
    ^^ its yellow epidermis outer skin and the texture is still a bit flexible. It’s weighted at about 250 gr after being peeled. And at about 125 gr after being baked;
    50 ml of Water;
    125 gr of Sugar (equal to the weigh of the coconut);
    ½ tsp Salt;
    ½ tsp Vanilla Essence;
    Sufficient food coloring.
    Note
    For a tighter texture, we can add about 1 ½ tbsp (25 g) of Cornstarch to the sugar solution. I have tried it, and it turns out that the sugar texture is stronger. Moreover, it also tastes less sweet, perfect for those who weren’t a fan of sweet taste.
