Looks like some great progress. Like seeing your guys in action. Just a thought now please don't take this personally but, the young man that was doing the body work on the hood, I'm thinking he would get better results by skim coating the whole hood with filler. That way when its blocked even though 90% of it gets taken off you end up not having to add more should you over sand, and you end up possibly low at an edge. You also are bridging over the area. Just saying. 🙂 Keep up the great builds. Hope to meet up with you sometime. Take care.
No offense taken. Thanks for your comment & thank you for Subscribing. WE use as little filler & glaze as possible. We make up for any variation in the surfacer primer. The final guide coat shows us everything before paint. Glazing the entire panel does work & we do that sometimes. Thanks again. Keep watching.
Not sure you have done any 53 Willy pickups , have a question , cable that goes from the trans, and transfer case has a short metal tab drivers side of the trans,, a ball joint fits into it,,and on the plate between the bellhousing and engine has a small channel that the cable fits in to,,,do you know what it is supposed to do...this was a complete, disassembly , truck,,got it in boxes, also have a 48 from the La Cross area,,,Yellow ,,,all original thx if you can help
I have a 49 four-wheel drive and a 52 2-wheel drive hoping to get those redone sometime soon
