I've played that song all my life, but never like that. What a perfect combination, the Gershwin brothers, John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara, Beegie Adair, a bass, brushes, and an old man to listen. A time that will never be again. Thank you Lord for a good nights sleep and to wake up to this beautiful performance. Thank you, Beegie, my new friend.

Eón ago, when Earth was young and me too, I used to play this song for my then girl friend (now my wife) when we got angry and it was my way of sayin I am sorry. If she would come to sit by my side everything was forgiven (never forgotten, of course) and life would be great again.
We have been married for 35 beautiful years and I still play it sometimes. Life is good.
