This was amazing and very easy to follow. I have an autistic son who is coming into his own now, however, he still dislikes crowds and the noises that are equated with barbershops and salons. So I've been doing as much of his hairstyles for years to eliminate the his frustrations as best as I can and I feel that I can add this to my arsenal. One question though, how would I add hair to the root before the twist if someone had short or just wanted longer hair? Can it be done? If so, please show me and send me the link, Thanks.

A lot of autistic kids don’t like sound , get him some earplugs (the ones people use at warehouses) it doesn’t cancel out him from hearing but it tones everything down … I’m not autistic that I know of BUT I CANT STAND SOUND AND TO MUCH LIGHT

I find box braids longer than these sometimes😭 But when the client starts asking for 6 rows instead of 4 it’s game over 😂

Thank you! Very easy to take out. Just remove the elastics and unravel the barrel twists. The individual coils can then be combed/brushed out but they should unravel themselves 🤍

The tension on this hairstyle is actually quite low as the coils become slippery to grab once gel is applied. I always ask my clients to tell me if their hair is too tight at any point during their appointment, this client felt no pain

Yhh I find when you use large amounts of gummy it goes white but the styling dredz melts and goes clear but still holds 😊

You can turn in any way Yh that is most comfortable but each twist has to be in the same direction

You play too much that’s not how you do it locks you pull in so much and parents say breaking the hair 😂
This hairstyle is not locs, as you can see in the title of the video. I always ask my clients if their hair is tight throughout the appointment. This client experience no discomfort. It may look like I am pulling tight but the gel actually makes the hair slippery which makes it difficult to even pull the hair tightly. My clients keep this style in for about 3-4 weeks then take it out easily like any other style. It is not starter locs or dread locs of any sort, just a temporary style.
You don’t know how to do Locks if you do any other style please stick with it and leave Dreadlocks alone We need a noun go to school for dreadlocks class so you know how to do it😂😅
These aren’t meant to be locs, it is a temporary style just like any other.
