      And yet even some part of One UI fail to adhere to the this one handed philosophy while other companies do.
      Notifications for example, iOS has the right way to do lock screen notifications, from the bottom. it would fit right into One UI. Yet Samsung in all the years it's had hasn't done this.

      Notifications for example: on iOS you can CHOOSE whether the notifications come in as a count, stack or list. Lock Star, a One UI exclusive, allows you to physically place where on the lock screen the notifications are displayed, including from the bottom. And it's been available for years, so Samsung actually has done this "in all the years it's had".

I don't bother about Apple software updates too because I know if Samsung hasn't done it yet they will implement something better. The taskbar on Android 12L on fold z range is an example. And also banks will never let you use Android face unlock cause a picture or video can I lock your phone potentially.
      Luckily androids still have underscreen fingerprint scanners.
      The only good face unlock that ever existed was the the Pixel 4 face unlock, and maybe iris scanning when it decide to not be slower than just using the fingerprint scanner.

Now idk about other android face unlock since I only just started using android phones and this s22ultra is only my second after using only iphones for the past 8 years. When comparing my s22ultra face unlock to my 13ProMax faceid I literally see no difference, they both work just as good and I've asked other apple fans as well who agree. My s22ultra face unlock has yet to fail me and even works when I forget about it and try to use fingerprint, it's just noticeably much faster to unlock than on my iPhone since it has both. Also never had issues with it at night either so I'm not SEEING the difference, I only hear the difference that ultimately doesn't show

      Android already had dynamic island once. LG was the first to make it & like always, apple copied it & just tweaked it.

    Been using this app for about past 5 days. I like how it goes away automatically. Had tried others and it was always on the screen even when in landscape mode. Seems like it always being updated to make it a better. experience.

    Apples' Dynamic Island was supposed to be SPECIAL, iPhone's new Appeal, now it just feels like a cheap software gimmick.

    • @NateDizzle984
      @NateDizzle984 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Put this android app on your phone and look at the trash. Yeah it's more customizable in this app but you can tell it doesn't belong a d sticks out like a sore thumb. Apple has perfected there but I'm sure Android will put it on future phones smh

    • @2078smith

      Apple new appeal, is just a software gimmick, they stole from the LG phones.

      lol, the first dynamic island was made by LG
      this isn't made by android, it's a third party app, it doesn't look gimicky at all

    • @ohyea2k349
      @ohyea2k349 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @N_Dizzle_L calm down just accept that the dynamic island is just a trash gimmick to cover up the fact that apple can't truly get rid of the notch. On android dynamic island is customizable, doesn't cut into media consumption and its a choice instead of being forced onto you. Clearly it's perfected on android, lol I knew it would be just not this fast hasn't even been a whole month since 14pro release

    Definitely not necessary. It looks horrible and takes up sooooo much space. If any other company would've did this it would've been criticized. Definitely not necessary. This is clearly a solution to a problem Android doesn't have.

    The "incredible iPhone new feature" of 2022 is easily recreated on Android (and theoretically we always could). I don't like Apple but I give it to them: this is very satisfying. We already had pop-ups and stuff, but this is a cool dynamic (dah) way to improve pop-ups!
    Kids, we're not trying to copy the phone your momma bought for you, but if someone does something, you're allowed to use it as a foundation for better product (this is common in the product and services industry).
    Anyway, I'll try it a little till I get bored. Thanks for sharing.

    I don't think major android phone manufacturers will add a dynamic island as a default android feature because android phone's punch holes have been too small for this to be applicable.
