Fairly new to watching your videos, this one was great, thank you. We are senior couple and find standing at cooker to cook from scratch is becoming a real challenge. All of them sound yummy. Going to do the chicken and red potatoes for sure. Sometimes to change up the beef stroganoff I will add a can of Campbell's Cream of Mushroom, and cut the sour cream or plain yogurt in half. It is nice change.

My 11 year old daughter loves watching your meals of the week! she isn't great with trying new food but saw this video and wanted to try your stroganoff. I was really surprised and fully expected her not to like it, but I bought all the ingredients and let her prep it for the slow cooker today. Hi. I've just seen your videos and subscribed. My parents bought me a slow cooker for Christmas & never had/tried anything in it yet. You've inspired me to try your recipes though we are only a family of 2, so I guess I use less or if make too much can just freeze for another meal. Thanks

I didn't have yoghurt to hand for the stroganoff, so used soured cream. Tasted great. Also used meatballs once instead of diced beef, that was really good too. Thanks for the recipes. All great ideas. Xx
That roast is amazing 😍 ..we can't get any roast meat at the moment and I wanted it for Easter day tomorrow ..I can't wait until I can have a roast again
I believe after browning the meat for the stroganoff, You could have just added everything to the slow cooker and began the slow cooking process. You could have also added your noodles the last 20 to 30 minutes of the slow cooking time. If the sauce is not good enough to add the pasta to call me you could always add a half a cup of beef broth.
Yes!! So many I look at are too American for my palate! I’m really interested to get more out of my slow cooker - would you recommend any resources to get my head around how much fresh/powdered/frozen garlic to use compared to ‘normal’ speed of cooking? Or like how to work out how long certain bits of meat need, when to sear or how much salt is too much etc? I feel there are some ‘rules’ to slow cooking that still evade me but I like playing with recipes in ‘normal’ cooking times but would love a framework on how to safely mess about with a slow cooker without giving anyone food poisoning or a really grim offering!!
