Personally prefer the nails on the strip, and don't care about the box. My biggest disappointment in the pricy nails is that they only offer 10 sizes, vs the 12-15 sizes of the other ones. I'm also interested in how you'd score BT arte box. Great job on this video❤

This was an AWESOME video and I would definitely like more like this. I’m a beginner and would benefit from so many like this. Nail glues, buffers, nail bits, builder gels etc 💜

I tried Beetles last year (before they had the strip) in the baggies- the sizing was good but they were bendy and weak(even w builder gel and a couple days wear). Seems like they’ve improved in the past year and a half.
Kiara sky by far were the Worst- none fit my nails (unless I slid the tip down from the cuticle area so they could fit sidewall to sidewall) and for $35 I felt scammed by such a “reputable” brand. The box is just sitting in my nail area. 😢
I have yet to try Daily Charmes but I will bc I have some of their gels. Love them.
NotPolish and BTArt Box have done me extremely well however. So maybe a comparison video between those 2?
They’re quite strong although I believe NP might be a smidge stronger but they lack variety in shape/colors.

I love these types of videos and would love to see how Makartt (between all their different kinds) holds up against daily charm. I would also love to see you trying out builder gels or builder in a bottle brands also.
Do Makartt have full cover tips?

Love love this video. Very helpful when buying full cover tips. I love trying new full cover tips but I look for very good strength and love when they come in box.
thanks for the vid, question, please! I heard other Nail Techs say that you can only correctly cure gel with a UV lamp IF the full cover nail is fully transparent, otherwise it won't cure properly and it becomes dangerous to the health of your nail. I am a newbie trying to learn the correct way for best results. Am I missing something?
That can certainly be a concern. The ones that I use are from BTartbox. There is a great video showing that they do fully cure, even though they are not transparent. They're translucent enough.

Kiara Sky used to be my faves, but i was disappointed in their strength and the way they fit with a more recent purchase. Aprés are again my goto, and their new mini box with 280 tips, 14 sizes (inc. 3 half sizes) at $16.99 make them affordable. They are strong, have a good apex, and the cuticle fits (for me) with no filing. You can also buy refills. They also have so many styles in both natural and sculpted. I don't think they get enough love... so, here i am, loving them. ❤
I enjoy comparison videos and would love to see a battle of the nail extension gels! ❤
Wanted to add that they also have pre-colored tips as well, other than enailcouture i think they were some of the first to do it? they are super sturdy and beautiful shades with a wide range
I completely agree with you! I love apres and all I buy now are the mini boxes. The quality is incomparable.
Ya if ur only doing ur own its best to find a brand u like, figure out ur sizes, & buy refill packs. Otherwise its expensive & wasteful.
Hardest part is figuring out which brand offers ur ideal size & fit. As someone w/ Shrek paws I immediately rule them out if 00 doesn’t come standard (Kiara Sky largest was still slightly too small).
SO happy Apres started offering smaller packs. SofGel also offers a full variety pack for same price as a normal box.
Fit, sizing and form of btartbox tips are hands down my favorite across the board.

You use a peel off coat, I've recently tried this thinking it would be easier to get gelX nails off after a couple of weeks, instead of the e-file or soak ... Well, I find that my nails pop off after just a few days. Is this normal, that the product isn't meant for any long-term nails?
No it’s not meant for long time use. I’m surprised they lasted a few days actually. This method is for literally popping them off soon after. Sorry but there really is no way around soaking.
Great video! Previously, I used Kiara Sky clear gel tips. Now, I'm comparing Daily Charme and Kiara Sky colored pink nail tips because I need to buy a new box.
Kiara Sky clear tips are really nice, but the colored ones don't look too natural for some reason. Could you do more TH-cam shorts to show the two nails in medium? I wish to buy something that looks natural.
What about BTArt box pre colored full nails? I know you said you liked those before

I'm too poor to buy all of these to try them, but I got BTArtbox a several months ago and they're totally amazing!! I think they'd hold up to these, but again I don't have first hand experince with any of these other ones :)

I wish BTartbox had been compared Kiara and Daily Sky.
Let's compare simular priced, Apres, Kiara, Daily, BTartbox, etc.
Then the lower Beetles, Modelones etc
Now I have a question….. when curing the full cover tips to your nails does the fact that they are colored affect the curing process?? Like does any of the gels not fully cure or the lights from the lamps are able to penetrate through the color of the nail tips??? I ask because I’ve always had issues with colored polygel, especially darker pigmented polygel!!!
These nail tips are all intended to be applied using gel. I have had no issue with getting a full cure. Doing flash cures does take a little longer since they are colored instead of clear. I also do a full 60 second cure once they are all applied to be sure it cured fully!

Hey, tfs! I purchased the modelones but I'll see how long they last etc... Definitely going 2 try Beetles. I love this color & makes it easier. Still might try Kiara sky & daily charme. I enjoyed this but I normally just get clear tips.
Daily Charme offers individual size refills which make them affordable. Only problem is they are literally constantly sold out. Very frustrating and the reason I don’t buy them.
I was just on the website looking at this bc I’m always frustrated with having unusable sizes just kicking around with my nail supplies and I did the math, if you know your sizes already you can get the same amount of tips for almost half the price of their full extension set and have no waste!

Would you say daily charme is a flatter or sculpted nail? I’m interested in trying them but I’m not sure if they’d be too flat
I personally love the gelike brand full cover pre etched tips! Affordable and durable I can usually get 3 weeks out of them!!
I've tried Beetles in the past and the thumb did not fit mine at all. Ive tried Makartt and do love them, but their mediums are long as heck compared to Daily Charme's medium tips. I do like Daily Charme because I dont have to do much customizing around the cuticle and their medium is the perfect length since I'm on the computer all day.
How do you file the cuticle without ruining the natural nail? I did my own nails a long time ago, and I destroyed the nail bed and now my nails are all misshapen. I’m scared to file down at the cuticle edge, but I also think it looks nicer.
I wish beetles made longer tips as well..hopefully soon

I have fairly flat nail beds and the tips do not lay down on my nails without pressure. Is there a certain brand or trick that works best? Thanks!!
With flat nail beds you can try using a solid glue gel, it will help with the extra space in the nail tip!!

how does BTArtbox compare?
I decided not to add BTArtbox into the mix because I feel the nail tips are more like a press on since they are pretty much finished with the added design on top. (french tip, cat eye) I definitely recommend them, they are amazing quality. I have videos on my channel trying different nail tips from them!
