Jack is often justifiably criticised for the way he’s written, but when he’s used properly, Scott Maslen really shines. He really makes Jack’s grief real.
Penny should have kept a close watch on her computer. Penny DESERVES to be blamed for what she did to Chelsea. Sure Chelsea typed in the numbers BUT a good manager would have kept their eyes on ALL aspects of the event. And Penny should have made sure that ALL of their communication lines were open. If the radi had been working properly when Zack told the guy outside not to let anyone else inside there wouldn't have been a problem. That is not on Chelsea!! Even with the rado not working properly there was nothing stopping Penny or Zack from physically going outside and stopping people from coming in. This entire storyline sucks big time.
I think out of every character in Eastenders, family wise, Jack is the best, he tries to be there for all his nieces and nephews and his siblings, as well as his kids
I like Amy but she doesn't really do much in the storyline now anyway. I wish they had done a story with Amy instead of Sonia and Reiss. That is soooooo boring.
They reused the audio of Janine yelling "RYAN!!!" from the 2010 Queen Vic fire again. First time's quite faint at 0:11, but can hear it the second time at 0:16. They did the same thing during the 2011 B&B fire and the 2017 gas explosion.
This is the second time Chelsea has sabotaged someone for petty reasons and innocent people have gotten seriously hurt. The first one being her and Dean getting Sean locked up in prison for the assault on Patrick Truman. She and Dean went to prison for it. It seems she hasn't learned anything.
I felted so bad for penny i don't like her since the new actresses who plays penny has come into mia was much better at playing penny but seeing pennt fell off her wheelchair into the glasses was traumatising and actually was so sad to see how no one cared for the person in the wheelchair poor penny hope she is okay no matter what she has done she didn't deserve my poor penny 😢 hope she will be okay and i hope she goes see lauren in the hospital as well as amy of course
Should have played James bond for casino royale as I heard when that guy told me on Facebook years ago and his right. But it's too late now for him to be James bond .but he can do action movies.
LOL! Well done, you, Penny! I’m genuinely surprised the writers didn’t have her single-handedly break down the exit door and lead the charge to safety. Penny is, after all, an international drug courier who spies on a dangerous gang (per her recent snitch deal with Feds), not to mention, it would seem, an expert on the ins and outs of teen sex-about which she is more than happy to virtue-boast, in an embarrassing display of what we can only assume she sees as worldly sophistication to Amy the Grump, her now completely bewildered younger sibling. So wise, Penny, so very, very wise…. Sisterly advice notwithstanding, Penny also apparently likes to pick up strange men at bars whom she then takes home for a positively cringe-inducing “pipe cleaning”, as slyly described to her father (wink, wink, get it?) As if that overall plot line isn’t ridiculous enough for a number of reasons-including the obvious danger in which she puts herself-we’re also supposed to believe that Penny’s smarmy remark goes right over his city detective head. Got it! And, now the writers have Sassy Penny magically landing a gig as manager of a licensed nightclub-all by simply stabbing poor Chelsea, putting on her “deadly serious face” and announcing to a cynical East London business owner that she’s the right man for the job-despite her side gig as a criminal. Ok. Not surprisingly, Penny continues to embarrass herself-this time by storming around with more seriousness than the CEO of a Fortune 500. “This is your final warning”. lol, And, btw, haha, good for you, Chelsea…(at least there’s one character written with a dose of reality, while still maintaining a fun-and funny-plot line). Seriously, I’ve heard of imagination-stretching plot lines, but intentionally or not, this one comes across as so agenda-laden, that instead of entertaining, the absurdities actually result in the viewer doing a double take-because any believability commensurate to what a show like Eastenders merits (i.e., a modest amount) is just gone. Next, the writers will have Penny telling us she was the getaway driver in a Hatton Garden diamond heist. I mean, really…

@@TH-camForever2025 Tonight’s episode focuses on exactly that.

Penny set of the fire alarm. THAT caused the panic and that was on Penny, NOT Chelsea.
@gidgetharris9513 it was on Chelsea because the tickets were sold out, and she re-sold them again, thus causing overcrowding.
Both will likely get the blame as Chelsea tampered with the amount of tickets left & penny didn't check the fire exits
