Its paramount that your children learn their mother tongue so they keep the culture going. We must never forget our roots. I second you on this beautiful ladies
Amosou kendo Jokanyanam! Hello! - Nice intro, well thought and well done. This is why I believe Millennials are the solution to the world's problem. Their grand parents were bamboozled by the foreign culture, somehow, adapted and then missed the point to emphasize this identity issue. Hehe, alafu achako dag e Town. Hehe Luozila! Hilarious!
I understand this lady in blue. Once you start living somewhere for long you can forget some words especially relocating at a young age to a different environment.
I live in diaspora but the only thing i can't do is to change my culture. Though not all are good but 95% i can't change. Like those CHIRA things i don't believe. You are very right again, my children mother isn't luo lady and i have problem talking to my children in luo, children have learnt her language. I'm just thinking of buying luo books and teach them but it isn't easy for us men.
@@siaya254 I'm a child of Luos living in the diaspora and I have that problem. I understand 95% of the language but can't vocalise it. My parents moved back to Kenya so I have no one to practice with even if I wanted to learn the language, besides it's hard when there's no one around to talk to.
@@siaya254 Yes but it will be of no use to my future generations if I can't speak it myself. At this point I'm seriously considering finding a wife back home. Just can't see myself marrying a jasungu unless I have to.
@@kr3539 getting a wife from home is a good idea in terms of preserving our culture and probably passing a bit of it to your kids. But it's important to get the right person. I wish you all the Best ❣️. And there are many nice girls back home who can make good wives. Hope you will get one you compliment each other with.
