This was my mom’s favorite MCU and superhero movie before she passed away 10 months after it premiered from cancer complications. Not only did she love the movie but she absolutely loved the soundtrack because they were all songs she grew up with. I still can’t watch this movie without breaking down crying because the opening scene when Peter’s mom is in the hospital bed looks far too much like my mom when she was going through chemotherapy and radiation therapy when I was 14. She fought it for 10 years when even the doctors thought she wouldn’t make it that long. Her favorites were Groot and Rocket. I still wish she had lived to see the other 2 films, but I’m happy we got to see this before she passed. So whenever I listen to the soundtrack in the car, and especially to *Redbone’s “Come And Get Your Love”* I think about how we would dance in our seats along with Star Lord in that scene.
Maybe it will help that some stranger, somewhere in the world, who has had something similar happen to them hopes your grieving process goes well. There's nothing wrong with being reminded of the loss of a loved one and keeping the memory of them alive by remembering them with your heart.
Fun Fact: Vin Diesel a.k.a Groot recorded all his lines in several different languages, including Russian, Mandarin, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and French, so that they could use his real voice in the film around the world

It's been 10 years! Since this movie was released, The Guardians of the Galaxy was a groundbreaking story back then, Chris Pratt did great as Star-Lord, I also really liked Zoe Saldaña as Gamora, as did Dave Bautista as Drax. Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel as Rocket & Groot they are great, Many people love both Rocket and Groot for being so cute and pure of heart, especially Groot, who with his simple phrase “I am Groot” can express all kinds of love and affection. They are the 2 best characters in the Movie ❤️🦝🌿🌲 when the movie came out I knew very little about this superhero team, but it has since become one of my favorite movies, Amazing reaction, girls! 🥺💯❤️ 15:36 I always laugh at the scene where Rocket says he was just joking about the leg ❤️😂🤣 40:20 I wasn't expecting that, Magy, I love when you use Spanish words! ❤️😍
Oddly enough, when you said Rocket looked like someone wearing a Wolverine costume, that's actually pretty accurate. A Wolverine and a racoon are a part of the same mammal family. However Wolverines are closer to badgers, weasels and ferrets. But racoons aren't too distant.
My mom passed from cancer the summer before this movie came out. The opening hospital scene wrecked me but damn what an incredible movie! Entire guardians trilogy is great.
Gotta love Magy for introducing the MCU to Laura. It's been so much fun to watch her bestie fall in love with all these characters... And, again, props to Magy for being able to not spoil anything to her (I don't know if I could, my face only would spoil everything in a second 😅), but there were some moments where WE KNEW what was on her mind: 20:58 - that look on your face when you KNOW all about the stone(s) and its significance to MCU journey awaiting for Laura. ☺ 33:49 - that look of pride when you see Youndu and KNOW what it's going to be like in the next GotG movie...❤ If you know, YOU KNOW. 37:52 - that look when you KNOW what's about to happen and you KNOW it's gonna be heartbreaking. 😢
Guardians of the Galaxy with the audacious slogan: «The Avengers save only Earth, while these guys save the Universe».🌌 One of the main advantages of the film is its visual style. Respect to Groot for his laconicism and dedication with the voice of Vin Diesel, repeating the same phrase throughout the film, only with different intonations. The directors and creators of the movie were not afraid to reveal the secrets of quantum physics to the average person (viewer). In fact, it is difficult to assemble a team of superheroes, maintaining a balance between the characters so as not to single anyone out, but at the same time to give each one bright distinctive features and charisma. But this film succeeded brilliantly with a fair amount of irony, dizzying adventures, battles, intrigue, and charming characters. Battle raccoon Rocket is beyond competition!🦝🚀 This is one of my favorite MCU characters. I remember being as excited about the duo of Groot & Rocket as I was the first time I saw R2-D2 and C-3PO in the classic Star Wars movie's. Sure, they have their own style, but they fit together perfectly. A very significant addition is that the movie is a musical. The main character has a cassette with recordings of great songs from the 70s and 80s. Each of the stories seen is bolstered by a strong soundtrack. Sometimes an entire visual composition is formed around a song. This creates a certain soulful atmosphere. We are accustomed to films where superheroes are parodied or where from the very opening credits the musical compositions of Hans Zimmer directly convey the scope of the epicness of what is happening. In this film, the atmosphere is created like a dinner party, where a group of old acquaintances share interesting stories and a good mood with pleasant music. Coordinated work of the general team, the ability to perform collective actions - this is the key to the success of the whole story. The cast of characters, as well as the abilities possessed by the main characters, differ significantly from the Marvel universe we are accustomed to. The characters are attentive, have a sense of humor and the ability to quickly understand the situation. They are not looking for the meaning of life and their self-determination - their credo is a common goal and unity of action. ... 🦝 Rocket Raccoon: What did the galaxy ever do for you? Why would you want to save it? (ꗞ _ ꗞ) Peter Quill: Because I'm one of the idiots who lives in it! It was really fun.💥 Thank you for the react!🧡🌌🪐🫶🏻
When the Guardians of the Galaxy came out, I was taken back by how much I loved it. Quickly becoming my favorite MCU movie. It has a sensational cast, with chemistry that just can't be faked. So genuinely and organically shown on screen. They all went from being lonewolfs, to a family of misfits. Really good stuff. Plus it has a killer soundtrack, lots of great action, tons of humor and above all else, this movie has heart. And I really love how you continue to see this "family" grow throughout the three movies (even in Infinity War & End Game). You ladies should also watch some of the behind the scenes extras on these Guardians movies. It is cool hearing them talk about how they were all unsure if the audience would accept them, to their characters becoming smash hits. Really glad this movie exists, along with the sequel Guardian movies. Though, this Guardian movie is my favorite of the three.
For me Guardians always hits hard because of the themes about friendship & family. When a talking tree says 3 words & makes you cry, you know it's something special.
I remember first seeing this in theaters, I cried at the first scene. I was not expecting to but it makes me think of how much I love my mother. Being in the kid's shoes, I don't want to think about it. A lot of us had almost no knowledge of the Guardians, but this movie turned out to be a lot more fun than we can imagine. And the soundtrack is amazing. Got some of the songs on my ipod along some Eagles, Journey, and Earth, Wind and Fire.
Guardians of the Galaxy is probably the most surprising MCU film. Marvel took what is basically an original movie (IP barely known to anyone, no connections to the broader franchise form the trailer), an absurd concept, D-list characters, and a lead cast with barely any star power - and made it work. Its such a hilarious and action packed film, and I love how it manages to be a comedy while still having a good amount of serious moments.
You two are a lot better at remembering and interpreting these movies than i expected. Your reactions to jokes and big moments are great, and youre both beautiful as ever. Sign me up
Good Marvel team-up film. Good job at introducing them based on their interactions with each other where you don't need solo projects about each member of the team beforehand.
The exceptional soundtrack, amazing dynamic we have between our band of misfits, gorgeous action scenes and those insane background shots really giving us a thorough look at the vastness of space - all bottled up into this 2 hours epic movie. You've pointed out really well how this is one of the most beloved movies in the MCU. Quill is clearly the glue that binds the team together, always mediating and keeping them focused on the end goal. Gamora feels like she had the most character development out of them all in this movie - Thanos' "daughter", actively working against her father's wishes, slowly getting attached to this zany group. Rocket is stealing all the scenes he's a part of - highly sarcastic, a penchant for shooting/blowing things up but with a hidden soft side that just melts you whenever he shows it. Groot is...Groot! Perfect partner for Rocket and such a fiercely protective part of the Guardians. His ability to adapt his body is spectacular - fireflies for light, forming that protective barrier during the fall, extending his body to reach otherwise highly inaccessible place, shielding Rocket from bullets. With each new movie he was in, Groot only got more and more badass. Drax, with his inability to understand metaphors, just hits you with the wildest lines and that just cracks you up when you expect it the least. It was satisfying to see him develop throughout the movie, accept the Guardians as his new "family" instead of remaining hellbent on revenge against Ronan. Speaking of, Ronan didn't really stand out as a villain but he did make for a few entertaining scenes and got disposed of in a spectacular fashion at the end. Yondu made for a highly entertaining supporting character. Badass arrow weapon, protective of Quill at the times but doesn't hesistate to make his point clear in order to keep the rest of the Ravagers in line. Thanos finally get a bit of screentime in this movie helped give us an inkling of just what a big threat he is. What he did to his "daughters", Gamora and Nebula only emphasizes that. That budding romance between Gamora and Quill was satisfying to watch throughout the movie, how she slowly warmed up to him. Groot's sacrifice - top contender for the most emotional scene in this movie. Keep in mind what we find out about the Infinity Stones, Quill's dad - these are important little lore tidbits. Thank you for the beautiful reaction and the discussion at the end, you did a great job ❤
Guardians of the Galaxy is THE BEST TRILOGY of the MCU and all thanks to the fact that they let its director (James Gunn) do what he wanted and did not tie him down and force him to do what they wanted. I love Rocket, he is my favorite character along with Groot! Luv the dance off and the opening dance scene. Great reaction girls! Can't wait for GotG2! Thanks Magy and Laura ❤️💛🌱(groot)
I have yet to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 due to hearing about animals helplessly getting tortured. Surprised PETA supported that and not go against it. But still don't wanna watch it. I own a dog and cat since they were a pup and kitten. I can't imagine you two watching that without a tear in your eye 😄
They aren't real animals, they were CGI for heaven's sake so why would PETA be involved? It was integral to Rocket's backstory to see why he is like he is. White knighting it pretty hard aren't you? It's sad as fuck and disturbing in the story but no real animals were harmed.
Guardians of the Galaxy is incredible, fun and features many references to various Marvel characters; great choice girls, bring more of their films, hugs.

If you both loved this movie, next year you will love superman from james gunn
You both are the most beautiful ladies on TH-cam by far. Loving the Marvel reactions ❤❤❤
Entertaining and beautiful as always!🎉
Top 3 MCU movie outside of avengers movies. And even then still might be top 3z
I love the GOTG it’s one of the best ❤
Been waiting for this one. Let’s f**king go 🤙
Great reaction. ❤
Dato: Los guardianes de la galaxia no tenía mucha esperanza y resultó ser de las mejores trilogías de marvel
Say whatever you want about James Gunn but the man knows how to write memorable characters and genuine emotional investment.
Just wait till you girls get to Guardians Volume 3.... 😉
To be honest, the one villain I already admire is Thanos.
Very good reaction young ladies.
you 2 need to see Howard the Duck
I love this movie and the series
Would someone please send Magy a blanket. She always looks cold. Makes me feel cold watching.
I've made it a rule never to mac on green chicks.
Great video.
Hasta la vista muchacho” 😂
My beautiful neighbors. Greetings and kisses from Romania.
Can you guys watch Sunshine (2007)? It's a really good scary space movie.
Hello Magy, your hair is very beatiful today ❤
This stuff is great, but i want to see some random older horror reactions. Return of the living dead, the fly, poltergeist. Carrie
Try to watch Scot pilgrim vs the world... the perfect movie for this channel imho
Guardians of the Galaxy is incredible, fun and features many references to various Marvel characters; great choice girls, bring more of their films, hugs.
