For example SHE IS ALSO CALLED SHARADA , SARASVANI, VAAK DEVI, the third phase of MAHA GAYATHRI in the evening between 4.00pm and 8.00 pm. Also SHE is also represented as sitting on a seat made of stone to represent that KNOWLEDGE once gained is solid , stable and permanent. Among other meanings the peacock represents the danger of learning of information which gives to the sin of pride that hides knowledge. HANSA / HAMSA also represents the smooth flow of breath ( NATHAM) which is the VAHANA ( vehicle )for sound ( SABDA) and so on. JAI SAI RAM
