What a great idea for a video! Thank you for introducing us to many unique and different snacks that are authentic to the countries!! Love your videos!!
I know I'm late to the party here but a few notes on poutine from a Canuck: 1) It's pronounced pooh-TIN (like a tin can). 2) The authentic version is just fries, gravy and cheese curds (no extra meat). 3) It's most popular in Quebec and Ontario as it was invented in rural Quebec in the 1950s. Also agree that Morocco is sorely underrated (shout out to Spice Road Table) and that a baguette is the BEST snack in all of World Showcase!
Wonderful video! I’m getting hungry for snacks just watching. As someone who’s grown up with both of the recommended Japanese snacks, the dried crabs have a sweet umami glaze on them that makes it much more palatable than the dried squid.
Interesting video. As someone who also grew up with Japanese food/snacks the dried cuttlefish (squid), it is definitely a different taste. Could be a more acquired taste with fishy things being a normal taste in Japanese food versus norms in America.
i know this sounds silly, but just going to the world show case is on my bucket list. well it depends on the regin i guess I went to Tuscany for like 8 days every single day (unless i was staying back at the apartment like one time) Id have Gelto and i don't think i've ever seen that. but it looks very good. I'd go for the Hazelnut cause i'm lame like that,
I love this vlog idea because like you said you probably wouldn’t have tried the “authentic” foods otherwise and they all looked so good 😍🤩 I also never knew Milka was German! We have that here in the UK. Also very random but what lipstick do you use? It seems to stay on very well despite all the snacks haha, this is the kinda lipstick I need in my life 🤣🤣
That was a fun video! :) But let me tell you as a German, those party snacks you ate there may be produced in Germany, but no German would consider them an authentic German snack. ;) Corn and peanuts sounds more like a typical American combination. You rather should've gone with Werther's candy or Haribo, which are actually traditional and authentic German snacks.
Thank you so much for letting me know! Unfortunately not all cultural representatives have returned to Epcot and Germany was a pavilion that did not have someone from Germany so the cast members did their best.

I’ll definitely have to try them one day! That definitely sounds better than the squid 😂

Yeah it made me realize that all the Japanese food I eat is definitely Americanized. I do eventually want to try the crabs!

It’s not silly at all! There are so many great snacks and this isn’t even counting the festivals!
