They're both chaos incarnate. 😂 Henry tried to make up so hard for his earlier years that he ended up making Jane way too comfortable with him. Which isn't exactly bad when you're a parent because you want to know what your kid's up to. The only piece of information Jane actively kept from her dad was that the internet guy's real name is also Henry. For some curious reason, that's the only thing her unfiltered mouth can't say.
@@blackmagictutorials6810 Well, she did say she was looking for her dad's traits in potential partners. This one's definitely the least bad trait she could have picked.
@@brainydragonva Jane meant she's looking for someone who's ready to lose it all when it matters. The crowbar scene and Henry's near bankruptcy were core memories to her. She wants someone who stands on business.
I don't really think she found out anything about cheating. Because she just blames her ex for hurting her mom and not considering how evil her mom was. And worse, some of her actions do kinda make me feel she needs to be careful and considering in relationships.

I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. 😔 At least she doesn't seem to have actively abused someone, yet. I'm kinda worried for this poor letter guy, though.

no one knows what happen to the mom's ex. i guess he is really dying alone just like the late mother said to him on the previous part. this is a good series. keep up the good work. 👍
Avena's ex is doing well. I'd like to think that things went "really well" with his client during the lunch meeting. Though she was right when she implied that his standards have gone way up after his glow up. Source: i wrote the whole thing. 😂
@@blackmagictutorials6810 that's good to know. since money isn't a problem for him anymore, dude probably attract various gold diggers which is a lot worse than dying alone tho. but i do really hope he finds the right person in his life.
@blackmagictutorials6810 It would be entertaining to see how things would unfold, with the Ex's daughter knowing the full story later down the road and stumbling upon whatever the Ex BF has made for himself. It might even give both a chance at a morbid form of closure after both ordeal.
@@Rathalos2428 even if Jane were to learn everything, she simply wouldn't care much about her mom's ex. She would express some fascination at most. As far as she's concerned, that guy's ancient history. This part 5 is both an epilogue to Avena's story and a prologue to a book written in the letter guy's pov. So yeah, Jane does actually follow through with meeting her anonymous paramour some three years later which puts her at 28.
The wait was certainly worth it. This went in a different direction than I expected, nonetheless it's nice to see the two talk about the topic since personally keeping this a secret would be quite hard given the circumstances. Amazing performance as always rose! Super enjoyable audio!
Thank you for the comment, and sorry about my delayed reponse! I'm so surprised by the daughter's reaction because, if I were her, I'd feel... betrayed(?) by the mother. 🤔 But I'd also be relieved that my mother changed for the better so much before she died. @@RoseWeiVA no need to apologize for the delayed response and those are valid reactions, I would feel the same as someone who believes in second chances
Yeah, the scriptwriter's imagination is wild. I'm conflicted about the end result as well, but I'm so honored to have been able to play both Avena and Jane's parts! :D
@@RoseWeiVA The secret is to spend a fair amount of time with psychological conditioning. 😂 ask them for help with fishing stuff. "I need to change my line. Reel it in while I hold the spool." or show them several lures "if you were a fish, which would you bite?" Ease them in slowly until they're familiar. Familiarity is the seed of interest. quick side note, I have a long comment for the video 12 days ago which you may have missed. 😂 I can't tag you on the comment itself as yt doesn't seem to allow it.
@@blackmagictutorials6810 The psychological conditioning is both scary and smart, depending on your intentions. 😭 Is that what Jane's father did?! There are a lot of comments to read, so I'm sorry for the delay. I have been getting through them slowly so that I can give each one a proper response. But feel free to remind me again later if it seems like I completely didn't see the comment. 💗
Nice video. I wonder if we get an epic meetup with the original listener and the girls father. Also I found a song that kinda fits to this series. Listener: You took advantage of me You showed me things I could be You tried to make me believe You loved me more than I did So first you love me Then you hurt me Now you throw me away. The cheating ex: If who I am is what you see Then well Stay the hell away from me Away from me I'll stay right here amongst the flames And I'll sail across the endless sea Endless sea. The song is called Endless by NXCRE & The Villains. And the last lyric just fits this video so well, cause she did sailed across the endless sea.
Oh gods, she keeps looking for _our_ traits? No wonder she got bored with green flag guy so quickly. Although in fairness, there's nothing wrong with not wanting to be with someone who doesn't excite you, in and of itself. People deserve to have partners who make them happy, who have chemistry with them, not just ones who don't hurt them. It's just that a lot of people who have been abused think that a relationship is boring _because of_ the lack of abuse, since adrenaline isn't pumping through their veins all the time. Fortunately, she's being single for a while, which is exactly what people should do in that situation. Being single, and working on themselves.
Despite her obscenely relaxed demeanor, Jane still hasn't forgotten the things that happened before. At the slightest hint of real abuse, she's gone. I'd say a lot of female listeners could relate when she says, "Fck his feelings, I wanna live in peace."
I have to agree with you there. Although, I think the chemistry and excitement only really happen at the start. From what I've been told about long lasting relationships, the couple begin to feel comfortable and content. I have heard at least one friend who broke up with their partner because they stopped feeling the excitement, but I had thought things were going well until then. :(
@@RoseWeiVA happened to a close guy friend of mine. I thought things were going really well for them since i believe they met through an online game, hence both gamers. She ended up cheating on him.
(i wrote the script) No, he is not. 😅 Oddly enough, that internet guy Jane mentioned was already a POV character in the book years before I wrote about Jane's mom.
Some boys get real desperate on the first few days of ghosting especially if it's their first time. Jane kissing him good made it much worse. 🤣His love bombing annoyed Jane even more.
@@RoseWeiVA Definitely _better_ than he was before! Not sure about _good_ or not, though. My problem is, I would always be waiting for the other shoe to drop, as if he was a tamed tiger that might decide you actually do look like a tasty snack at the slightest provocation. It's kind of hard to see someone as a decent person, after they've been a terrible one to you.
They way it starts is exactly how I imagined it would go. 10/10 asmr breathing. "I'm kidding. Or am I?" No, she definitely was not. I kept replaying a few bits because I love the way you said them. The "strangled" bit sounded personal 😂. I recall not putting any sort of emphasis on that. In my native language, we have a word for that; it sounded like it had some "gigil" (overwhelming emotion; Usually caused by anger, frustration or cuteness.) which I very much adore. I also played back the part where she says "I could just go to his house and....... Huh." Absolute perfection. That line meant a lot to me. I could feel her entire thought process during that brief silence. The "don't you think I'm a good girl, daddy?" caught me off guard as I forgot that i wrote it. I laughed the same time as Jane 🤣. Jane's laughter and giggles are the stuff of dreams. I will keep coming back to this video when I need to hear her as I write the book. Btw, the sfx are outstanding wtf 🤣. When I was writing, I thought "yeah... this is gonna be hell for Rose. Where's she even gonna find a fishing reel sfx?" The timing is so on point. When the rowing stopped during Jane's little joke, I could see her dad with raised eyebrows like "dude wtf are you serious?" Wordless communication done right. Jane is an absolute menace and you have breathed life to her in ways I was not expecting. Thanks to your voice and portrayal, I've gotten much more clarity as to what kind of person Jane is. Pure joy to listen to.
I didn't realize the breathing in the beginning was "asmr breathing" or "sus" until the comments pointed it out. Now I am so shy! I loved the "I'm kidding. Or am I?" part because it really reminds me of her mother haha. When I voice act, I will sometimes make the hand gestures associated with a motion to make it sound more realistic, and I definitely did for the "strangled" part haha. Gigil is a cute word, which is very appropriate given what it means. I'm so glad you liked that part! I was worried I didn't deliver the "I could just go to his house and....... Huh." right. There was a lot of empty space, and I didn't know if it served it well or not. I'm happy to hear that it did! :D "The "don't you think I'm a good girl, daddy?" caught me off guard as I forgot that i wrote it. I laughed the same time as Jane 🤣. " YOU HAD ME SAY THIS LINE AND THEN YOU DON'T REMEMBER. 😂 Ah, sorry, I used all caps for the fun of it. I injected quite a bit more laughter and giggles than I think the script had, so I was worried I overdid it. I'm relieved to hear you liked it! I took so long editing this audio and finding all the SFX. You really wrote this script knowing I would struggle finding SFX. 😭 If it's a SFX I can't find, I end up having to leave it out unless I can find something even vaguely similar. I'm so happy you liked the rowing stopping part! I'm so proud of it. I smiled when I played it back after editing to give it a listen-over. Thank you for the amazing script. Your characters and their emotions are always so beautifully crafted, and your prose is phenomenal.
@@RoseWeiVA I've always felt that you enjoy seeing how far you can really go so I wanted to write something that sees to that. 😂 It seems that some of the subtle stuff I wrote in went unnoticed. The breathing, the knife length, etc. While I was writing these, I thought; "Yeah, she does spice. She'll get it." Apparently not. I'm sorry.😭 I've always enjoyed writing things with multiple meanings. 😆 I like how it was Avena who was actually kidding and Jane was the one being serious. SFX was a bit detailed with this one as I was writing from experience. I indulged a bit with it as I was a bit frustrated with an upcoming fishing trip of ours that keeps getting postponed due to life happenings. 😭 I learned from the king of prose, Mark Lawrence. To me, all good prose has the anatomy of a hilarious joke. I really wanna send over a copy of the book with jane because I'm quite proud of the prose in that but I can't find the time to finish the cursed thing. I'm always just drained after the end of the day, which I just now realize is a great prompt for a script. And thank you for lending your voice to my characters. Always a pleasure to hear your take on them. I'm dying to write a new (slightly lighter) script but these next several months are gonna be crazy busy for me workwise. Hoping to hear you voice Rayca at some point.
@@blackmagictutorials6810 For me, it's more so developing my skill of what sorts of characters I can voice and what sorts of tones I can adopt. 😅 I think the spice has to be obvious or labeled for me to realize it's spice. 😭 Then my listeners will point it out, and THEN I will realize and be super embarassed/shy. Ooh that's true. There are differences between them in that way. I didn't think of that! Ah, sorry about the fishing trip. Is it you with friends? Mark Lawrence has some amazing prose! I've heard Joe Abercrombie was the king of prose before too. 🤔 I hope you can get a moment to relax to work on the writing you enjoy. 😊
@@RoseWeiVA There's a random character I thought up before that looks like someone who would have your voice. Elarra Kleiss, Bane of the Reaper. (Yeap, Avena's ancestor) A medieval knight commander who's more about power and authority. I'm still clueless on how she fits the main plot but I like her name enough to find a way to make it work. Her artstation description goes like this "From a young age, Elarra has been knighted by King Evius. A tactician with no remorse. Tasked with the absolute slaughter of all evilkin infesting the Blood Pass, she has completed the impossible siege within a fortnight. Knights say that whenever she stares death in the eye, it blinks." Also, King Evius is the 7th Fallidian king. it's all connected. 😂 Fishing trip is with my dad (😮), an uncle, and a friend. Jane's frustration with the cost of lures stacking up comes from the heart. I'm pretty sure Mark and Joe know each other. Haven't had the pleasure of reading Abercrombie's work, though. I'm sure I'll find a way to work on all of them at some point. I'm like a gremlin. Easily attracted to new shiny things. 🤣
@@blackmagictutorials6810 You might as well write a story for each person in the ancestry tree. 😂 If you write a script with Elarra that you think suits me, feel free to send it my way! 😊 I remember the Fallidian King thing from the Jane script! 🤯 Is your dad named Henry? 👀 I think I've seen an interview with both Mark and Joe before, or maybe it was two different writers.

@@RoseWeiVA Yeah, once the chemistry wears off, there has to be friendship at the bottom. Otherwise, the relationship isn't going to last very long. 🥲

Wait, is the guy she's texting her mom's ex???
(i wrote the script) No, he is not. 😅 Oddly enough, that internet guy Jane mentioned was already a POV character in the book years before I wrote about Jane's mom.
Wait, he professed his love for her when she ghosted him after 3 dates and a kiss? That sounds like way more of a red flag than being boring.
Some boys get real desperate on the first few days of ghosting especially if it's their first time. Jane kissing him good made it much worse. 🤣His love bombing annoyed Jane even more.

This has to be connected to one of the other previous audios. That’s just my opinion tho
This is part 5 of the previous audios.
9/10 the title is a little misleading
Yeah, it is a bit misleading. I wonder what I could change it to to make it less misleading but still appealing.
Holy f- we're the abusive husband in this one. 😱
Do you think he's better now after the change?
"The "don't you think I'm a good girl, daddy?" caught me off guard as I forgot that i wrote it. I laughed the same time as Jane 🤣. "
YOU HAD ME SAY THIS LINE AND THEN YOU DON'T REMEMBER.
I like how it was Avena who was actually kidding and Jane was the one being serious.
SFX was a bit detailed with this one as I was writing from experience. I indulged a bit with it as I was a bit frustrated with an upcoming fishing trip of ours that keeps getting postponed due to life happenings. 😭
I learned from the king of prose, Mark Lawrence.
I think the spice has to be obvious or labeled for me to realize it's spice.
I hope you can get a moment to relax to work on the writing you enjoy.
Knights say that whenever she stares death in the eye, it blinks."
Also, King Evius is the 7th Fallidian king. it's all connected. 😂
Fishing trip is with my dad (😮), an uncle, and a friend.
