Another good one Doug. Gotta say that Nick is the type of guy I like fishing with. He's obviously out there to have fun. And considering his pedigree, he is open to taking advice without making it a big deal. Looking forward to the next video. Stay safe!
Another awesome video Doug!! Saw you at the chicago musky show ...I started musky fishing a couple of years ago and since watching your channel I have learned a whole lot thanks again keep up the great videos!!!
I really enjoy your videos and appreciate the tips you give but whats really awesome is you dont wear a chest cam and block the best part of the entire video like almost every other fishing channel does!.....great channel Doug thank you!
Doug, besides the shallow invader, what are your other go to cranks for LOTW? Love your videos BTW, and totally agree with previous comment re staying clear of the chestie cam. Thanks
I was wondering what gear ratio Diawa reel you would recommend for baits like the 8/9 twin buck tails you often use. I almost never throw anything bigger then that.
Thanks for the reply. Would you recommend the st croix sling blade for this size bait? I’d also throw standard to mag rubber baits and crankbaits with the setup. Right now I only have a 7’6” jerkbait/topwater rod and need an all around setup mainly for buck tails. I’ve been fly fishing for muskies exclusively for the last three years but am returning to using conventional gear when conditions aren’t ideal for fly fishing because i haven’t had much success on the fly yet. So I want a solid do all rod.
