- One woman still had a voicemail from the alleged serial killer - the message was obtained exclusively by Eyewitness News. Anthony Carlo has the details.

His lawyer said he cried in court. Imagine! Imagine how the girls he tortured cried, and cried for their lives? I hope he gets what's coming his way in jail and often.
His guilt hasn’t been proven and much of the evidence is tenuous. They refused to say how the DNA connected him, only that they collected it. He could just be a weirdo who got psychologically obsessed with the case and got off on role playing the murderer while harassing victims family. Wouldn’t even be close to the first time this has happened. I’ll save my judgment for when the prosecutors actually show some real evidence in an open trial.

Yeah they waited outside his office for him to throw away pizza box from lunch, then took DNA sample off the pizza crust. Manhattan investigators will stop at nothing. We’ve got cameras every few feet. Average person is on camera >30 times just on their way to work. You can’t really go undetected as a criminal in Manhattan in 2023

To put this into perspective, there's an estimated 2,000 active serial killers in the US which has a population of 330 million people. Extrapolating this out would mean there's a 0.00061% chance that any single person is a serial killer. So its safe to say that you're neighbor, while being annoying, is not a serial killer with a 99.999% chance of certainty...

I hope this case is solved. I have listened to families’ heartbreak from the beginning. There’s no closure but at least the criminal will pay for these horrific injustices. If he is the killer, the task force, detectives and every single person who helped out an end to this maniac deserve enormous credit, respect and gratitude.
He's definitely the killer of the Gilgo Beach four. The evidence that prosecutors mentioned at his bond hearing was overhelming. He's now the best suspect for the other six murder victims, too, but it's too early to be sure.

Of course, this is from a recent call and voicemail where he even identifies himself. They would have to have a voicemail. He left to one of the family members of his victims or something for it even to be relevant. The title says this was a chilling voicemail, but this wasn’t chilling at all except now, we know who left his voicemail to her, and what they actually did.

Usually they have no knowledge of anything. The 3 murders he's been accused of, all happened when his wife and kids were out of town. One of his kids is a special needs person. I've seen doco's where kids talk about their serial killer Dad and they really have no idea. It's so sad for them when it all comes out and people judge them. Many of them just sink into depression, become addicts, commit suicide, etc, especially if they are under age 30 (it's harder for them to handle due to their youth I guess). Evil Lives Here is one such TV show.
MY mother married someone like this and will defend him until her death. She often mocks his victims.

They may be jeopardizing the investigation and case by even having it. Media needs to do better in convicting and releasing so much info before a jury has even been selected. Especially for the sake of fulfilling nosey onlookers. The families need real justice.
@@teedee643 Yeah I'm from NZ and they have media black outs on cases where the trial hasn't finished. This one hasn't even started. The public are also not allowed to discuss cases online either, until the trial is finished.I also can't believe the way the cops have disclosed all their evidence as well. They aren't allowed to do that here, as it jeopardises the case.

We must pay attention to anything that seems creepy or off. In the past I thought I was being too harsh in my assessments of (mainly men), and that despite odd and upsetting behavior they deserved a second chance. Over the years I’ve learned to PAY ATTENTION to feelings of repulsion, anxiety, doubt and distrust, and be careful not to be vulnerable around those people-never be alone with them, never share personal information, and as soon as possible distance myself then sever contact. I’ve survived a few near brushes, as I’m guessing most women have. The key is PAY ATTENTION and take your feelings seriously.

I've had too many creepy encounters with men so I feel exactly as you do. I especially do not like any stranger approaching me no matter where I am. There really is no reason to be approached by anyone nowadays with all the cell phones. People may not own a vehicle, but they will always have a cell phone.

Well, I like to know more about people like this so I can understand them and what is driving them. After all if you are going to prevent anything like this from happening, you have to know WHY it is happening.

He said he wanted to “touch base.” Yeah, I’ll bet he did. The message was absent any contact. He wasn’t offering her anything or suggesting why he called. Impulsive behavior. Unprofessional. Boundary testing to see if she was a soft touch and how far he could get with her. Was she unquestioning or had hidden low enough critical reasoning and business sense to ignore the hoover. Would she call him back out of pity. Psychopaths want your sympathy so they can play off of it and lure you in.
