Thanks for the share and example video. Before knowing of Edge Tamers I saw how one guy who actually welded metal skis to his bucket to prevent the dig-in and tearing up of driveways, grass, etc. I thought that was a great idea but many of us are not versed enough or inclined to do that and so ... when hearing of Edge Tamers it was a needed answer found. Again, thanks for the share and video.

Thank you very much for the perspective. For me they have served their purpose in an area where we don't get a whole lot of snow. Not enough to justify a $2000 investment in something bigger. Thanks again.

nice video to see how the bucket skate works, use a rear blade to do the snow removal faster and you can do the finish with the bucket. Really cool to have this kind of video thank you

These would be very useful for a gravel Drive but on blacktop or concrete they are a waste. They actually hurt you more than help you.

I cannot see how they hurt. They leave a small layer of snow but that is easier managed than tearing up the front of the bucket.

Edge tamers are a one trick pony. You lose the ability of back dragging. They cost alot, and they wear out very fast.

what exactly does Edge Tamers do for you?

Sorry I should have been more descriptive in the review. They keep the edge of the bucket from digging into the surface. Especially if you are working on gravel or grass. They will have the bucket ride on top of the surface you are working on.
