Seriously. Hands down. You're best series to date no doubts. I've watched them all. TBH though, I was hoping Negan would've lasted a bit longer. That one was fantastically tough. Thanks for all your hard work and efforts. Really helps in these darkened times to be taken elsewhere for a while.
Thanks so much Warped - that means a lot! I'm pondering whether to retire Luci to the legacy pool....and if I do she might come back as a Lone Wolf playthrough. Thanks so much for all your support👍😎
Those exploding zombies are dangerous! Another SOD streamer tried what you are doing and had the same results. I'd go with bloater gas and/or drone strikes. Good video.
I'm thinking the economics are just too expensive to go full on fuel bombs with zombie lures. Although I do like your bloater gas idea (plus exploding zombies and fire!) 👍😎
GURU!!! There are different arc to the 'Brother in blue " mission. ( I had to erase my all Booze Hounds community because of a bad save) my new crew had the same outcome you had; Now in my all law enforcement community I got the partner of the brother (that his girlfriend) and Bro also and the funny part is the partner has the bad cop trait! So i got her stomping out Zebs as her finishing move , in her all black detective suit , lol, I tend to let Bro and his partner run mission together....lite mission because we all know NPC followers can be problematic 🤕😂
The best way to use the exploding zombies is to quiet the place down, then find a loner and try to get them to follow you in to the building. Then grasp and shove them directly into the heart. Back out of the exploding zone, and use a bow to hit them in the head. Their explosion burns for a while, and causes about 300 damage to the heart. Once it's phased and you get 100 or so zombies near the heart, that's when fire can do its magic. But if you get caught in a room with multiple exploding zombies who are on fire, you are dead. Risk/reward, but I love using exploding zombies to kill hearts.
Oh yeah, grab and throw - I did have the chance a couple times...but man when they go up it's bad news! Like you say risk/reward and you can't play this game without risk - thanks for the suggestion 👍😎
They don't do anywhere close to 300 damage anymore. In fact I think if you read the curveball language it says the hearts in the zone of the curveball are fire and explosion resistant. The fact that Guru had to have blown up about 20 zombies near that heart this episode alone backs this up.
@@The_Makr_ I've been playing NML for a month. I do have the plague heart health gauge mod, and they do 300 damage in my game. A hit or two and an exploding zombie will phase a heart with full hp. But you can't explode them "near" the heart, they have to be almost right on it. The explosion doesn't cause the damage, it's the fire they create after blowing up.
I've found remote box mines and firecrackers work pretty well for fueling the plague hearts Guru. the firecrackers to lure them in, the remote box mine to detonate when the time is right. I would imagine zombait would work just as well probably even better.
Also legacy swapping is fine I think. State of decay is all.abkit enclaves and survival together so having allies is fine. Btw a friend and I on e lost a red talon each to a single plague bloater. Take care!
Thanks! And yes, I've seen a bloater destroy an entire Severity 3 infestation including the juggernaut with an explosion. It saved my bacon actually 👍😎
I think it's fine to trade a character out since all your characters are fully maxed anyway. This is an economy test, so you really need the right mix of skills. Early in the game when your characters were weak it would have been a cheese, but not now, imo. Also regarding the exploder zombies, UL nerfed their explosions vs. hearts significantly because people were using it to one shot hearts as a cheese. If it were my playthrough I would concentrate on actually killing the heart causing the exploders because i think it will be just way to resource intensive to do the bait and blow up method. I do understand removing that heart may lead to a black heart or something even nastier, but I'm not sure you will wind up having much of a choice. You are definitely starting to hit some difficult areas now my friend and I look forward to see how you eventually triumph! One last thought: don't forget if you decide to wack the heart to try and grab and shove (didn't see you try this in this episode) any exploders towards the heart and then see if you can shotgun them. You'll need to be cognizant of all zombies in the room so you don't get caught in a chain reaction. There's really no easy way to do this is there, lol...
Thanks Makr! If you say it's clean, it's clean 👍 They nerfed the explosions? Right, that changes things as the economics won't stack up. Might have to go for the jugular then and take the main heart down. OMG if I get a black plague heart it is all over! 👍😎

I love how you set up your community themes Vodka! Bad Cop Stomp is super cool 👍😎

Time to sit back and watch my favourite weekly zombie show

Hmm...I think I can craft those. Worth a shot I reckon! Thanks Norm 👍😎
Damn guru, you are super good at this game. For real, I can still watch you play and learn things. Much thanks sir
Haha - not sure about that but thanks Vet! I appreciate you man! 🙏👍😎
Maybe if you put some fireworks next to the heart the rockets will bounce from the celing and burn the heart in some signifikant way maybe
They might draw in the Zeds better but they are way expensive...costing actual ammo to craft. I'm sorry I sold mine now! 👍😎

@@gurugamingkiwi If you get a black heart in my opinion scentblock is absolutely back on the menu boys, (lord of the rings reference!) lol...
@@The_Makr_ I LOVE lord of the rings references!! 😄
There's a mod that tells you how much health the plague heart has left.
Guessing is half the fun 😁
When is the next episode I finally caught up
Hey Matt, every Tues morning EST 👍😎
Good going! Thanks for watching so far 👍😎
