I wore a sari in dubai once during Diwali. I got so many compliments from white girls especially, asking about my jewellery and dress. It was so nice explaining about my culture. You looked amazing which is why people were looking. Just ignore those who were laughing. They are lacking in knowledge about Indian culture. Simple. I wore bindi, mangalsutra, sindoor and bangles too. They like our culture. You would get stares in India also because you were looking like a model. ❤
