Well done. They are notoriously difficult orchids so you're dong well.

That's so awesome. I remember when you repotted it and thought it was completely dead. That scared me too. Yay good job!

Hello Danni. Can't wait to see what it looks like when it grows and blooms. Such a strange little orchid. Do you know which color you have? I hope its the red because I know you love the red ones and I think the red is just prettier.
BTW I just bought a den. micro chip. Have you seen this little girl before? I have about 8 p-bulbs on it and its small white with purple spots are about to bloom. Do you know if it has any special needs?

Great video ! Also, I know you mentioned cattleyas are nice and hardy for beginners. Can I get one online ? From who? Thank you for your videos, I am learning a lot before I ever get my first orchid thanks to you :)

Hi, yes I think Cattleyas are very forgiving, but they do need very bright light so only get them if you have southern or eastern exposures. Each region has its own stores and nurseries, so check to see if you have a nursery in your town, or an online shop. Good luck!

Out of curiosity, how long was your dormancy period? Just got one in bloom, its awesome, and now trying to figure out how to get it to come back next year! :)
