Was in camden my self yesterday i was hunting for game consoles ended up getting a ps2 and Xbox 360 over in Finchley cash converts for 90 quid total thanks for the vid my bro
I completely agree with you 100%. Here in Arizona USA we are able to get high priced like new clothing pieces everywhere for pennies on the dollar why people go to expensive retailers anymore is beyond me. Good for you!
Just a little heads up. That was the exit of Camden underground and that would take you towards chalk farm and Belsize park. (You can get to kentish town if you take a right under the bridge, follow it round and then left at the lights, then its straight down) Around the corner is the entrance and that's the road that takes you to kentish town on a straight road.
Love your energy. Kilburn, Golders Green and Mill Hill have some good charity shops. Hampstead has a couple but more expensive. Dalston worth checking out too.
Congrats on 50k subs! Very well deserved and here's hoping you hit 100k soon! I'd love to see your version of a "how to resell clothing online" video. That is, of course, unless you're looking to avoid increasing your local competition. 😁 Also, I think you mentioned in a different video about previously doing prank videos around London. Are those posted on a different channel or have they been deleted? Cheers!
I lived on the Åland Islands for 2,5 years. Bought most clothes in the only charity shop in town Mariehamn. I can say the stuff were better and cheaper than in this video. Almost new Levis jeans for like 12€. A very fine polo some 8€ and so on. Always something good in the shop. And that in a area inhabited by 30.000 persons.
Congrats on the 50k 😊 discovered your channel today - liked & subscribed.. Always a small selection of mens in charity shops compaired to womans .. nice selection in Scope..
I used to and still selectively now only shop at certain charity shops they pay their ceos too much money and too little hits the ground 200 thousand plus with some charities. 😤wrong
NO charlie NO. Not again. You walked by my neibourhood once again. I walked up that street in chiswick 5 times this week. At some point ill bumb into you theres no wayy
You know what the problem is? That very few men think on donating their old clothes to charity. If there wouldnt be a miss or a mum in their life to take this decision, clothes usually end up in the bin. Grow a more charitable heart guys! 😂😅
Your style is a bit 👎.... This is why finding clothes for you is a bit difficult..... Like all those polo shirt ypu rejected would have made bomb quiet luxury outfits
I like people who are frugal with their money and dont show off in youtube a belt they bought for £100 which i saw in a clothes shop once. I would never get a belt for £100 i could buy some jeans, get a weeks worth of food and get a few games for that. Your one cool dude charlie.
Ah man honestly I really appreciate that, I love just relating to people who have had a similar upbringing to me, and also helping em out at the same time
@@CharlieVlogs thats really nice of you charlie to think like that and yoy have a magnetic personality people are drawn to its thats why youve got so many subscribers (50k) with not that many videos on your channel. I really enjoyed your las vegas videos and the harrods one to.
I just paid £70 for a belt. Its the only item of clothing id concider paying extra for as it should last forever. I bought a 1970s english eagle buckle and a quality leather belt. If you buy cheap you buy twice
I buy so much good quality clothes for myself and my daughter. I got her a Monsoon stunning coat for £5 for school, practically new as well. So many people stop me and ask where is her coat from ? Lol 😂
Ha! I love this vlog. To be fair I always shop for clothes at charity shops yea every visit is an opportunity to find unique and great items at a fraction of their original cost! 😎
You need to do several episodes covering transport with in London. It might sound stupid but its important, as doing the wrong way could cost alot more (ie zones, tapping in, tapping out when changing lines) heat, noise etc... There's also so much options, buses, super loop, trams, boats, underground, overground, mainline, QE line, DLR and skyline
Worst charity shops for prices are cancer research and british heart foundation. BHF used to be good across the board but jacked their prices up 2 years ago and have stuff like used Primark t-shirts priced higher than they would have been brand new. Ridiculous
11:32 Meme material lol - nice vid, lad! I know these areas and charity shops well my friend lol where ru off to for the summer then? - ps can anyone do the meme then? respectfully ofc, like a sick beat kinda meme, get me?!
Great informative vids. Coming to London in September, staying close to Padington Station. Any advice re retro clothing stores, Good pubs, and cheap eats?
You skipped two worth visiting in Camden: Traid (it's on the other side of the street, close to the station) and Mind in Camden (around the corner, on Camden Road by the bus stops opposite Leyland/entrance to the big Sainsbury's). There are a few decent though small ones further up in Archway and also several than usually have interesting stuff in Crouch End.
Brought alot of clothes for 50p tbh. 1 time a lady was selling clothes 5 for £1 but from a London charity shop 99] ent bad at all! You are giving me massive wrotoshaw vibes. You must surely be related somehow
I once found a Hardy Ames jumper in excellent condition which the guy in the charity shop told me retailed at an unbelievable £235, which he sold to me for £12 .If you've got a good eye and know what to look for ,you can get some real bargains.
Everywhere but the gem just off the kings road - half way down. Never fails and was within a short bus from Pimlico. Always choice , but glad it remains off the radar
