Craig I love the L1 pro 8 and 16 I play classic rock nothing really loud … keep my volumes at restaurant level . I use acoustic guitar , Senn 945 mic and backing tracks … sadly ! without even pushing the volumes the limiter kicks in on many songs and drops my vocal and the whole system takes a very noticeable drop ! which is such a bummer when performing live the audience can even tell that something is going on …. I really ! really ! hope Bose will do a threshold modification on this problem … I even noticed on the pro16 which has more power it’s the same problem even! on the 32 same threshold level
will Bose ever address this issue ? I really hope so if it was at extreme loudness …..that I could understand for sure .
Just wish the setting on the limiter could be a little more fair ?

Over heating issues with the T4S and 8? Be honest. They cost a lot of $ Bose. Don’t hide a design flaw.

is there a BT digital mixer device in the pipeline as well. Would love to do the same on my tablet es well even when using the legacy L speakers. Currently planning switch from T1 to T4S as first one never worked that well with 2 sets of speakers. Used it for 10 years.

Hello, I have a BOSE F1 812 and T4S, I connect to the pc with a usb interface but it does not have the same sound, it is low, it may be that the t4s is damaged?

If I have a 3 channel L1 and add a T4, I’ll have 7 xlr/ trs inputs? Was wondering if I add a Bose mixer if I’m expanding and In the app will it show both mixers?

Bose app will only show the controls on the pro. The t4 inputs won’t show on the app

Integration of the onboard mixer and the T4/8S mixers would be helpful. The ability to control all channels from the app

Bose want to get users to buy the replacement mixers for the T4s and T8s that will have the capability to integrate into the app with the channels from the Pro units themselves!

What is the best practice for using the Pro32 with a full mixer (X32). We find that the noise floor is very audible at 9 o’clock volume setting.
Also does the T4S add any improvement to the overall sound when using an external mixer vs direct mic/line connections.

We suggest that you connect with our Pro Support team at 877-335-2673 to discuss your individual use case. They are available Monday - Friday from 9am - 9pm.
Proper gain-staging is key to achieving maximum volume with enough headroom, and an acceptable noise floor. For starters, make sure your mixer is providing enough signal to the L1 Pro32 channel. The L1 Pro32 is a very loud system, so amplifying audio signals that are too low can create an unnecessary noise floor.
Lastly, the T4S/T8S connect to the L1 Pro systems via the ToneMatch port, which deliver power to the mixer, and digital audio from the mixer to the L1. This signal flow is optimized for our L1 Pro systems, and still gives you access to the three onboard L1 Pro mixer channels.

The T4S is absolutely amazing. I was asking for this product years before it was released. I feel like Bose actually listened to me. Stereo capability, USB player for my studio tracks. Preset mic EQ for my Neumann KSM105. The T4 & 8S maximize the capability of these systems.
