I stopped in the car park at the Mach loop for the first time last summer while out having a ride to eat my sandwiches. Getting off the bike a Texan went through., and two more went through over the next 10 minutes. The sound of jets could then be heard, and over the next 15 minutes or so 4 F35's went screaming through, one of them more or less upside down. They stuck their afterburners on after turning left before the lake as well, which I wasn't expecting. It was a very impressive and memorable sight, especially when you witness first hand the speed they are travelling at to pass through such a relatively narrow gap. Finally, as I was about to leave, a helicopter passed through. Talk about beginners luck! I don't suppose I'll see anything like that again.
How were your sandwiches though? Do you like mayonnaise on your sandwiches? I don't know if British people put mayonnaise on their sandwiches but we sure do here in America. Also, do British people know what pickles are? I don't know if they have pickles in England or if they do and they call them something funny. British people call potato chips, 'crisps', which is pretty weird. Also, instead of french fries they call them, 'chips'. In any event, I sincerely hope you enjoyed your sandwiches.
21:15 typically at this point in the loop when flying a fast jet, you stop following the valley exactly and pull up over that sandy looking ridge straight ahead, over bank and drop back down.
The Hawk is a huge amount of fun! I think the N/T of the fusing stands for ‘Nose/Tail’. Not sure if it would make much difference which one you picked for a missile, but you’d definitely select one or the other for bombs depending on the type/desired effect (at least that’s my guess based on nothing other than years of fooling around in DCS!).
A developer could in theory build a DCS competitor with a multi-player add on. This would be a combination of Vatsim, beyond atc, and a mod to trigger failures when missiles hit planes.
As cool as this would be you’d need to completely overhaul the simulation of missiles (and bombs, currently since they start attached to the aircraft they have to move relative to the aircraft, so if the airplane turns so does the bombs), if they’re able to do this you could have great fun doing ground attack/CAS missions/training with great low level flying. However for full combat simulation MSFS also doesn’t have the sensor simulation for things like flares, chaff or radar range vs cross section or ground filter. So it’s probably less work to have DCS do a deal with a satellite imagery provider, maybe google earth or something, to sort out some nice procedural terrain generation rather than them adding maps manually like currently, although to avoid people downloading the whole world you would then need to do a whole terrain streaming system and have frame drops when loading new chunks (more important in combat) and stream stuff from servers rather than steam distributing everything once, so you can see why they haven’t.
Are you flying with an Xbox controller or is the jump from the elevator that abrupt? Everytime you nose up and nose down it's like if i slammed my HOTAS stick full forward and full aft. Just curious and not meaning any disrespect, loved the video If I buy this I want to make sure it has smooth transitions. Also another question. Did you use the default flight recorder for this or a 3rd party flight recorder?
Tornado went out of RAF service in 2019. The only Hawk T Mk1s now left operational are with the Red Arrows - maybe 12-15 jets The aircraft here XX176 was never operated by the Red Arrows. There is still a major error in the load out configuration. T Mk1 or 1A Hawks cannot be fitted with or use under wing pylon fuel tanks. They simply don't have the necessary fuel system pipes/connections to transfer fuel from underwing tanks into the main fuel tanks in the wing. Also the Hawk Mk1A only has capability for 1 pylon under each wing - either for Sidewinder missiles or SNEB rockets or practice bombs. For accuracy you shouldn't select a configuration with 2 stores pylons under each wing, which I understand the Just Flight models allows you to do - it is just wrong. FS2024 scenery still leaves some improvements - there are far too many trees shown in the terrain around Valley and there are certainly no trees on the airfield itself. I've done this low level stuff for real - I was both at Valley and worked on the Red Arrows for quite a while when I wore a blue suit. I gained maybe 100hrs back seat Hawk time as a 'Circus' engineer on the Red Arrows
Respect doing that on an xbox controller, I have tried in the past, not easy. I don't know if you are aware of a youtube channel called cgaviator? He's a former RAF pilot on Hawk and Tornado amongst others. Worth a watch, not least cos it's just fascinating. He has done instructional videos on Hawk, Tornado etc. Really useful. Thanks for your videos too. Always appreciated.

Thanks. I've tried the Mach Loop a few times recently, and that hard turn to follow the river valley seemed impossible in a fast jet.
The visuals is amazing! Absolutely fantastic..used it on fs20
Another excellent quality video, thanks

I see a 320SP video, I click, I smile 😊 ^Haden
0:05 At last 320 Sim Pilot reveals his appearance!

He is, says so when taking off, needs to use a proper setup.

Everything I know about the Mach loop and the hawk I learned from Chris, solid channel
Are you sure this isn't the Hawk TU/A model?

Sorry lol
I don't know what you mean! Come on man spit it out. BTW I'm a real pilot and so is my Grandma.
I downloaded this yesterday and despite starting it up and configuring the controls etc. I could not get it to move. No idea what I have done wrong.
Parking brake off? Chocks removed? Given it a bit of power?
Yes, I did all that.
@@CpnGoosegot it working. Started sim up this morning and it was working. Must have required a reboot of PC or something.
My Hawk T1 didn't transfer over to MSFS 2024 for some reason.
The 2024 marketplace isn't out yet. This is for those that bought it from JustFlights own shop.
Did you go into 2024 market place then library then scroll down to make sure you clicked it and hit enable?
N or T, nose or tail fusing...
