Review and comments on the beautiful Beachside Hotel and Suites in Cocoa Beach Florida. This is a Port Canaveral Cruise Hotel with a shuttle and breakfast.
The lazy river looks fun. Breakfast looks delicious. The location sounds perfect. We keep saying we are going to visit Cocoa Beach but then we don't. Not sure I understand the wall with adjustable hooks. Looks like wasted space of such a big area. The breakfast buffet is huge. Great review.
The hooks work pretty good but they do need more of them. Maybe there were more at the beginning and then they found their way into suitcases? A typical closet might be more practical? But I think the idea of the slot wall is to keep pace with the “ikea look” that seems to be popular with new or updated hotels. The hotel is located in a handy location, the beach, touristy shops, grocery store and the pier are all close. We walked the beach all the way to the pier on a cold morning but it was warm enough to take off our outer jacket by the time we got there. The lazy river is really nice and is a good way to spend a relaxing day, especially if it’s warm weather! Thanks for watching. Cheers🥂

Yes the lazy river was really nice, unfortunately during our stay at the Beachside, Florida was right at the start of a cold snap so we really appreciate the heated pool which is in a nice tropical setting. Remember it is a 1950’s hotel/motel that has been updated to the tune of 6 and a half million dollars! 💰 Cheers🍻
Great review! We are considering booking this hotel for our upcoming Orlando trip. We want to spend a day or 2 at the beach and visit the Kennedy Space Center and this hotel looks like it would be great for that.
Great!😀 glad you liked it. To be honest this hotel does have some small issues but don’t they all? So nevertheless it is a nice property especially if you have kids that can enjoy the Lazy River. Breakfast is good and the location is great. Close to groceries, shopping, Ron Jon’s, beach and the pier. Oh yeah and the Space Centre!👍 hope you get to the beach on your trip it’s worth the drive. I wish you a great vacation. The Beachside suites are pretty nice, better than the regular rooms. The important point to keep in mind is that it isn’t a first class Marriott Hotel, it is a beach hotel. If you have a kid or kids with you they will love it.
