Ravens fans have returned the favor, donating to the hospital here in Buffalo as well as to Josh Norman's charity to help small businesses. It's been a pretty great 48 hours.
As a Ravens fan, I want to thank you Bills Mafia for your contribution to Lamar's charity. Last weekend I was really rooting for my team but at the end of the day, you guys were the better team and deserved to be in the AFC Championship game. Congratulations again and I will be rooting for you guys against the Chiefs. All respect to Bills Mafia!
Respect back at you! If I was not already in the Mafia I would be a Ravens fan. Great fans, great team, best looking swag (but for the Red, White, and Blue!) and one of my favorite cities to visit. Also as a Rochester native we were the O’s farm team for years. Saw Cal R here in RaChaCha tears ago in the old Silver stadium. B more has a special place in my heart!
This makes me really proud to be a bills fan. So many fan bases win and just shove it in your face. Bills win and show respect online and then donate to your charity. During a pandemic?? Man, billsmafia is like a movement
The first superbowl we went to during the afc championship game biscuit said we have the best fans in the world. If you wanna get jacked up for sun watch the thundering herd
Not bad for a bunch of people who have trucks, love our dogs, the flag, and skulls. At the end of the day we are all human beings With the way the world is, it's nice to know we can treat each other the way we are supposed to. The golden rule.
Idk if you're right leaning or not, but it shows that they spread more love. It's ironic that the left preaches unity and love but I've seen more hatred from them. This is just my opinion, I'm not out here to insult and belittle others.
As a Ravens fan, I always liked and had respect for Buffalo. Thank you big time. Please keep New England down give them the knockout punch for years to come Bills.
i like lamar adnd the ravens too as a bills fan and hope bills win the bowl, cant even be mad about losing to the superbowl champs and keeping it competitive and close most of the game. the 2 teams stories have been pretty comparable and both have made strides each season
Hell yeah!!! Something I learned a long time ago and has stayed true. I start all my film session videos saying Hello Football Family. There's a respect level that goes beyond football. LJ and Josh play the game and treat people the right way. Lamar for life but I really like Josh Allen.
Bills fans have been extremely generous with charities since Hunter's Hope was founded in 1997 to raise money for the illness that took Jim Kelly's son in 2005. Kelly is an inspirational hero to me because of the way he conducted himself after the Superbowl losses, the fight and loss of his son and his own battle with cancer.
Little history about bills fans. I was 12 when Buffalo lost its first Super Bowl. I remember how awful we felt as fans. I remember seeing my dad tear up in disbelief when Norwood missed the field goal. I also remember a couple days later when their was a huge celebration downtown for the Bills when they returned. Thousands of fans showed cheering them on. No one and I mean no one got a louder ovation then Scott Norwood. They went crazy for him. They wanted to let him know he was loved. To people in Buffalo that team is family. It really showed what kind of people are in that city/fan base.
And it's not just a dozen or two rich fans. The director of the charity was interviewed by a Buffalo news station when the donations were somewhere around $240K and said that there were over 9,000 donors at that point.
How could anyone dislike this video? The reason why we, the Bills Mafia, do this is because we need to do everything possible to help our fellow citizens no matter who they play for, win or lose. That's our responsibility as American citizens. When people come together and give just a little bit, it adds up to A LOT. We all know what it's like to be in need or in pain. Nobody deserves pain. This concept all started when someone called us the laughing stock of the NFL. How do you overcome that name calling? You contribute to that persons charity and show them just how WE like to pay it forward in The Bills Mafia. I hope this catches on in the NFL, because WE ALL have the opportunity to change so much in the world, one dollar at a time.
You are so right. Most of those donations came in $8 increments and when you put the power of a large fan base behind it those kids will really feel the love.
Lamar Jackson is much appreciated by the Bills Mafia. He represents the very best of what the NFL has to offer! The Baltimore Ravens team and their coach are much respected in Buffalo. We are hoping Lamar recovers and gets healthy. Best wishes!!!
Fanbases give off the energy their players give them. Josh has great respect for Lamar and speaks VERY highly of him. That energy bounced off of him and onto us in this situation, I believe.
Happened with a Baltimore radio announcer last year before the Houston game as well. This is nothing new for Bills Mafia! Step up NFL and the other 31 teams! Who is going to top the Bills Mafia?
So happy to see this type of thing in the news! I've been a Bills fan all my life and have passed it down to my sons. A few weeks ago my oldest son was getting picked on for being a Bills fan (we live in NC, Panthers country). I told him about what Bills Mafia had done for Andy Dalton a couple years ago, and then for Josh Allen and his family... now this. I can't wait to show him this video. Every team has a die hard fan base but what other fan base that gets cheered on by their team? Go Bills!
I'm so proud of our Bills Mafia. Setting examples by just being ourselves. And I echo what these guys said. I hope our actions spread to other fabases. In all sports. And even in society as a whole. Love and cherish each other. Help each other. Pick each other up when we're down.
