After my group did a few demos at an assisted living facility, the residents showed interest in participating in a dance. Most were using walkers, so I needed a dance that wouldn’t tangle their feet, had a smooth easy tempo, and kept them on the front wall so they could follow me. That’s when I choreographed this dance for them and they had a blast. I kept it to use in my beginner class as an introduction to line dance for any “virgin” dancer that walked into class for the first time. It teaches four basic line dance moves and can have anyone doing an actual line dance in a matter of minutes. Enjoy!
