I would agree. PS2 is an awesome system. It was also a huge deal back in the day that it could play CD's, DVD's and PS1 games. The DVD player comparability was a huge system seller
@@CMRetroGaming You're right. Though I've noticed now that the PS2 struggles to play the DVD's from recent years. It keeps skipping or freezing. The encoding must be different.
its always lit to know that somebody else in this world has a love for ps2 sports games and games in general in this day in age.
Wow! You could build a fort with all those PS2 games. Love those SNK fighting game compilations. That X-Files game always looked interesting to me too.

nice collection Chris. ps2 is one of my favorite systems since that is when i started playing games more and got into new genres like rpgs for the first time. i am only a couple games away from 500 ps2 titles but there is still so much left to buy

Man that is a massive collection! Some really solid hitters in there! and of course some RPG's... and some really good ones! Grandia 2 and Star Ocean are really good! My favorite games out of your collection is Final Fantasy X and my favorite PS2 game ever is Suikoden 3! Great video and keep up the good work!

GTA Vice city is the only GTA game I played on teh PS2. I thought it was pretty cool
Wow, that's a lifetime's worth of games! Plenty here that I will look out for in the future.
Favorite game is a 3 way tie between Tekken 5, The Warriors, and the original NBA Street.
Tekken Tag is awesome. I need to get back to the Warriors
Awesome collection Chris! Playstation 2 is definitely one of my favorite consoles to collect for because of the sheer amount of cool games that came out for it. It's hard to decide on a favorite, but if I had to choose, I'd probably go with Final Fantasy X. It's the game that really got me back into RPG's and was my first entry into the Final Fantasy series. My honorable mentions would be God of War, Gran Turismo 3, Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne, Persona 3 and 4, and Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3. Those games are just a tip of the iceberg on the greatestness of the PS2!!!

Conflict Desert Storm was the first game I’ve ever played on the PlayStation 2. Arguably one of the best games ever made.

great collection bro, although I am surprised that you do not like smackdown vs raw games (and I am crazy to get them since just bringit to svr 2011) but anyway, take care of that collection because in 20 years they will be worth a fortune. Good Video btw :)

Great video Chris. Color me impressed thats a big ps2 collection. I would have o say that transformers game is one of my favorite ps2 games. Its exclusive and sorta uncommon.

Also the first ratchet and clank on the ps2 is the bomb you're gonna like it. I honestly like it more than the remaster on the PS4, but the PS4 one is good too!

I just want you guys to know that I made an editing snafu! I had to do a reshoot and some of the games were recorded twice. I'm also an idiot and grabbed the wrong box.....I do have a boxed PS2 slim....

Tomb Raider Underworld was pretty good I thought, though the story wasn't the best ever. Red Ninja is a game I've been trying to get my hands on for years, but I never see it. I don't care what anyone says, MGS2 was amazing! That's a beast of a PS2 collection, lots of great stuff! Heads up if you didn't catch it, but there were like 6 or 7 games you have two copies of, unless I got hit by some serious deja vu. Best PS2 game, probably MGS3 Subsistance(includes the MSX versions of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2).

Nfl street 2 is my jam. Both those crimson sea games are extremely uncommon. Sing it baby!!! You will eventually get to the thing haha. Blitz is only good on the 64 I agree. Cookies and cream is a great co op!

👍🙌 Yes Tomb Raider anniversary is Great Game I have it on PS2 it Very challenging game too. and I have Tomb Raider underworld too. But Something Wrong with Everytime I try to play it the disc get stuck on one level. I have Clean and Clean it Still Doing it . So I Stop playing it and just play Tomb Raider anniversary.

Some good games in there but would be nice to see silent hill games, ico, shadow of the colossus, primal, soul reaver 2 the rest of the rachet and clank games and jak & dexter games as well and can't believe there is not 1 dynasty warriors game in there, also resident evil 4, killzone and warhammer 40,000 fire warrior is a very under rated game

Nice collection, have you been to that newer store next to Donatos in Northland Plaza? They had a couple of sealed PS2 games. At least when I checked it out a month or so ago.

Yeah it's called BetterBuy it's one of those stores that sells a bunch of random stuff. I went there like two months ago, so I can't guaranty they have anything. But I remember they had a small bin of random PS2 and 360 games. The only game I remember them having was some Romance of the Three Kingdoms game. And some other sealed games I wasn't familiar with. I would have got them myself but I'm very selective anymore of what games I collect.
