I think I've been using RhinoShield products/cases for over 10 years now, and have thankfully never managed to crack a screen or glass back. Despite copious amounts of falls and careless yeeting, too. I'm sure other brands have surpassed them by now, but I still feel like the designs they offer for their SolidSuit line are among the most aesthetically pleasing.
Did you test any ESR clear cases? If so, what is your opinion of them? I currently like the ESR Classic Hybrid clear case and like it so far. I’d like to know your thoughts though as I value your opinions
I personally loved the Lifeproof cases especially the Next case with the clear back to show my iPhone off because I agree the worst thing you can do is get a colered iPhone and cover it up. In your opinion what case can I get that is very similar to the lifeproof next case since they don’t make them anymore?
dont buy casetify its overpriced and the case just falls apart after a few months because its low quality and the glue that glues the frame to the backplate just goes away
Thanks for this video. I went with the Catalyst. I love the grip, the texture, and the ability to put a loop on any of the four corners. Plus it looks good! I was turned off by the shiny look of Mous, and the branding on the camera area from Casetify.
Why the rhinoshield bumper is my choice for years now? No ugly MagSafe ring visible, no reduced MagSafe efficiency due to gap increase with a case and no trapped heat from wireless charging! Only downside, the phones magnets aren’t the strongest, there are some cases with super strong magnets that boost MagSafe capabilities with a phone grip quite drastically. Oh and obviously you get micro scratches on the back of the phone since it’s open back…
Have you tried the Nomad rugged case yet? I got this one and I’m curious if it’s protectiveness it’s rated for 15 feet and it’s super comfy in the hand, I just don’t want to test it’s protection myself 😅😅😅

Recommendation for future videos: Rate the strength of the MagSafe. I recently bought a Casetify Ultra Impact for my iPhone 12 pro max, but I returned it because the MagSafe for my Popgrip wasn't very good. I bought the Mous Limitless 4.0 (no clear color, unfortunately), and the MagSafe is much stronger and more reliable.
PhoneRebel has some super strong magnets! I have the PhoneRebel Flex Case and it’s amazing! I love being able to feel the phone but I also use a Magnetic Popsocket and it’s never fallen off. Ever.
You gotta try the phone rebel crystal it is the best one and mous and casetify to expensive tho I’m not gonna spen over $100 AUD on a case not even over $80 phone rebel is only $65 which isn’t that bad and I can’t use your links bc I’m in Australia 😮
No mention of the Otterbox Defender Series XT Clear case? I completely agree with you about the Otterbox Symmetry cases which is why my 14 Pro is wearing the Defender Series for the first time since the iPhone Xr. The Defender cases have a locking front ring around the phone and allow the installation of a screen protector. The Camera bump protector extends about the surface of the camera lenses and the case is both light and has textured grip panels down the sides as part of the design. Add in that here in Australia it's cheaper to import the Defender series over the Casetify and for me the choice was easy. I was suprised to not see it in your lineup.
I still think the Mous one should be ranked lower because of that camera protection, still have my camera scratched because of that 😔, the catalyst one is surely a must! Don’t get me wrong it’s so beautiful (the Mous one, specially the iridescent), but the drop protection… well that’s a problem. Is it just me or are both phone cases and phone case reviews (generally) way too focused on drop protection? There’s a buttload of people like me who just need scratch protection and very minor drop protection if any. That’s why I’m glad he focuses not just on drops but on button feel, grip, practicality, etc.
Sad that The new Rhinoshield Clear Case with MagSafe was not avaible in Time for the iPhone 14. only for the 13 already. Hope u will review it in the Future

I feel like you could split these cases into two category’s. Rugged and simple. I love my clear cases but hate the bulky ones. I’ve been using my Ringke Fusion clear matte case for over 2 years and can honestly say it’s the best simple clear case I’ve come across so far

My biggest problem with cases like the otterbox symmetry, uag plyo, etc, the seam. Comes apart after a year or less. Up until iPhone 7 I never had cases fall apart the way they do now.
