Thanks for the walk through. It's nice to have a walk through that shows you how to play a game without a lot of unnecessary and distracting byplay. I've had this game for 4 years and played it with a friend before I bought it... I just realized i never opened my game!

I remember playing this when I was in Highschool. I stayed after classes with a group to play board games and the teacher brought it. He also had a copy of Ave Ceasar. Didnt know it was rare back when I played it :p.

We love St Petersburg! I won an original copy on eBay and just gave it to hubs for his birthday last week actually. So glad you've done a run through as we have been debating when to move the cards down to the second row.
At 8:45 you draw an upgrade card out of the buildings deck ;-)

on account of rewinds... don't mind them at all... if you missed the logical thing to do... I also rewind when I play a game I haven't played that much...
