A serendipitous experience: Just yesterday I checked my X-T1 user manual for double exposures and today your video showed up on YT. I've never done this with a digital camera. I'll have to give this a go tomorrow. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.
I've used multi exp on my Olympus stylus 1 for a few years and I love the challenge. Most dont turn out but its fun trying. To create in camera vs computer is so rewarding. It is also good to hear that a lot of cameras have this option...I belong to a camera club and will have to suggest this for our challenges.
That's probably one of the first things I tried while I was playing around with my now ex XT3.The photos turned out great ! I double exposed a die cast model of a Datsun 240Z superimposed of a car magazine with an article about the car.
Great idea to start taking pictures this way. Very creative and inspiring. Will definitely get started with my Canon D90 to find out if this is possible.

Good luck Dana 👍
Thanks for the tutorial. I’ll have to try this with my Fuji XH2
You're welcome Julia 😊 🙏

Thank you for nice video. It's very interesting. Is there any provision of double exposure in Canon SL2 (200D)?

Glad it was helpful!
Great! Surely will do this on my X100VI. Did you also try Average and if so, what is your advice?
Thanks. No, I didn't actually, I was having too much fun on additive! Reminded me of the good old days of film 😊
Unfortunately it’s not possible in the Sony a7IV. I’ll try it in Affinity Photo (I don’t use Adobe). Thanks 😊
The first and last time I tried double exposure was on B&W film using Canon A1, also mid 90's 😅.
I should rediscover it again with my current canon R6
Go for it 👍
Are these shot in RAW or JPEG?
Raw
@@theschoolofphotography But the in camera final image will be in jpeg only.
No, it creates a raw file.
@@theschoolofphotography The individual exposures will be in RAW but the combined image is jpeg. Please check another time, I have just checked again.
It created a raw file in the camera I use. I was there!!
I accidentally double exposed on my Canon Eos 650 and liked it enough to enter it in a comp and won!
yes but I dont know how to properly do this yet
Practice makes perfect Colin 😊
