The BCG vaccine is only given to people who have direct family members who have been infected. It's not terribly effective - I got it as a child but was told for years not to rely on it, that I could still get TB especially as time went on and the protective aspect wore off. It always helps to educate yourself about serious matters like a TB outbreak. Tuberculosis is caused by a bacteria thus there is no vaccine that would be effective because vaccines are used to prevent viral infections. There are anti-TB meds that are prescribed at appropriate circumstances.
Edit: My own ignorance caught up with me on this one. The vaccine for TB is BCG as another commenter noted.

There's certainly covid antivaxxers here even after members of their family have died. There was a case where a pastor died, his pregnant daughter died (they saved the baby-it was a surrogate baby) and the father in law died of covid ( I believe he was the Sherriff of local county).

The BCG vaccine is only given to people who have direct family members who have been infected. It's not terribly effective - I got it as a child but was told for years not to rely on it, that I could still get TB especially as time went on and the protective aspect wore off. So I have been mindful of dirty people, especially if they spit. That's disgusting anyway but it's especially bad if you have TB because the germs are active and entering the air. Plus it's annoying and inconvenient to ALWAYS show positive on a skin test even if you don't have the disease. That part of the vaccine is for life.
