My Remote NFC switch works after setting up as you describe, however, it randomly shuts off sometimes. Just a heads up. I’m not sure these things are safe.
Your videos have been really useful thanks. Two questions I hope you can answer. 1. How to get the voice callouts, "Receiver on, receiver off" 2. I just got the TD R18 with dual battery XT30 male inputs. All my flight packs are XT60. Do you use adapters or do you solder XT30 female plugs to your battery leads? I think soldering will be difficult with the wire thickness? Thanks!
I will do a video on how to do the call out. It will involve some logic switches and special functions. Not to hard though. I order my flight packs from amazon and they come with the xt 30 connectors.
I sent the one in that I just could not get to do anything back to FRsky. I just heard back from them yesterday and they said they were replacing it. I emailed back last night to hopefully get some insight on what the problem was. Have not heard back yet.
I'm following exactly, with a brand new Remote NFC Panel switch. When I get to binding step I get "Failed to get module UUID" message. Did you encounter this and know a solution?
I did one the other day after this vid and just could not get it to bind. I'm starting to suspect maybe a bad switch, still working on it. Rather annoying. One good thing about these switches is that they fail to the on position, so still no worries if something were to happen during flight.
@@lancegebert Likewise, I have one that is definitely the newer version and just will not bind no matter what. Even tried to bind it with two different transmitters, nope.
@@ledbetterrcairforce4807 I did finally get there through brute force re-attempts and rebinding and updating everything a few times. Eventually the right thing stuck, which I could say exactly what.
@@ledbetterrcairforce4807 you need version 2 of the nfs switch version 1 will not work lot of places are still sell version 1 model need to open it up to see what version
Thank you very much

I was never able to get one of mine to bind either, gonna get with service center and send to them for diagnostics.
