Slap, when you launch heat ur tires then shift down to neutral and as soon the light turn green shift up and then launch.
Like so Slap sees it
Also hit nitro while in neutral and revving before launch and you wont have to worry about hitting the spray just use two fingers one on gas at all times and one to shift up

Slap, When you launch your car, to go as fast as possible, Just go into neutral and Redline and right when it turns green, put it into 1st gear because when you keep it at around 7 - 8 rpms, It is much much slower.

This seems weird though but try it. It works with pretty much any car.
Just start in netrual when 1 sec left for start use nitrous and rev to max. Then everything is usual. Should get decent time.

If you go into settings, you can swap the gear up/down and that makes it a lot easier to shift so you don’t have to move your left hand

Slap for launches put it in neutral rev to max then shift up when the light turns green. You get a much better start. Also you can flip the upshift and downshift buttons in the options menu. You can then hold down the gas and shift with your other hand.

Drafting affects the top speed of a car very much, more than you would expect. You should try it out. Also, you can do burnouts in cruise mode by holding the brakes and dropping the clutch at max RPM. Releasing the brakes for split seconds at a time turns it into a rolling burnout, and I think that's just the coolest thing. Try these, they're really fun.
Slap when you drag race after you burnout and the little timer begins at about 1.3 seconds activate your NoS because it gives you a much faster launch and a near identical top speed.
How to have the best launch:
1. Get higher ratios on the gearbox
2. When you are about to launch, use ur nos and rev it on neutral
3. when you actually launch you gotta shift fast (from 1st gear to 2nd almost immediately, but dont skip the 1st gear)
4. enjoy
I believe I got 1/4 mile in around 5-6 sec with this setup

I guess you should do it to the charger hellcat. You might be able to reach 4000 horsepower (with the 250 nitrous shot of course.)
I remember reaching 3800 horsepower with that car. If you're confused, the hemi engine in the parts store only revs to about 9300 rpm or something like that. But the engine in the charger hellcat revs to 10.000 rpm. See it for yourself if you don't believe me. Don't forget the $800.000 ecu
After you do the burnout shift down to neutral then keep accelerating, when the light goes green just shift up to first gear and so on, that will give you a launch boost.
For racing, spray off the launch... dont clutch in, put it in nutral and shift up... you will get the best launch which practically determines the race

Change your settings to put the upshift on the left. With lt5 use 2 step. Use awd for tournaments unless you get better at tuning and shifting. And use nos around 1- 0.2 seconds before race starts.
Tip for drag racing: after you warm Up you tires Press Clutch and Gas then 2 Seconds before the Race Starts Press Nitro (With Clutch and Gas and when Thema Race Starts Press only Gas)

The key to getting the best launch is. Do a dyno. Get the RPM in which you have the most torque. Then set your 2-step to that RPM. That way in the drag when you hold the clutch it goes to the max torque for launch

Just a fwi with demand nitro you can spray right when you're lined up and you will have plenty of nitro and some through out the race

You should flip your shift paddles in settings, that way you can hold the throttle and shift into first with your other thumb

Unironically, I took the Eagle talon in game, Spoon K20 swapped it.
Edit: I did a new top speed run and achieved 293 top out, heres my tune
Late 90's 2g Eagle Talon (third car in the N. America dealership, but should also work in the Mitsubishi Eclipse as they are literally identical minus the factory body Kit(DSM for life))
Engine: Spoon motor (crate only, but k20 should work close enough)
Max parts, Short Pipe 24k Exhaust, VX open intake, yadda yadda
Cosmo ZT B wheels, reddy t60e turbo
Gearing:
1: 2.93
2: 1.95
3: 1.41
4: 1.03
5: 0.83
6: 0.63
FD: 4.00
(1-5 is based on evo 9 gearing with a 4.00 Final drive, 6th gear was an add on for top speed run)
tune will put you in R2 in the 800's (with spoon) and runs under 6.6's consistantly

Hey Slap so the way to drag race in the tournament is to have your nitrous activated already during the countdown and just gas and shift so hit the nitrous button before you leave the line
To launch the car put it in neutral and then right when the light turns on shift up and you go flying forward
Slap you should switch your shifters so that you shift up on the right it leads to faster shifts also in tournaments launch with nos on it helps you launch faster
try hitting nitrous at netural when your launching and through the gears it works

You should put your car in nuttrol and that’s how you get the better start after you put your car in nuttrol you shift up
I only play amateur mode, sometimes the clutch don't work for me in expert so I stick to amateur mode. And slap you gotta learn to tune that the only way you will win in the tournaments. P.s my k20 swap eg civic will beat that c6 if you done tune it #6.2 for the win

I got over 450 km/h in a lancia delta, a renault 5, a lancia stratos, ect... the trick is nos and slipstream
Slap the way I play on drag races is to put the can in Neutral and hold the gas down. Then when the lights green go into first the second almost instantaneously
Broo to shift more easily you can put the shifter for higher gear on the left i mean you can swap the shifters and tilt your phone to steer.
I️ swap the shift buttons so that the upgear is on the left and then when I️ go to launch I️ just put the car in neutral and smash rev limiter and when the light goes green I️ hit the upgear to leave the line
Nitro before you go, trust me it gives you an advantage on tournaments

Slap, I switched the sides on + and - for gears, makes it hella easier to shift. ;) Should be in the options still.

Hey Slap, there is launch control in this game. Go to the upgrade section in the garage and tap on the tiny wrench next to the tiny gear icon and you can set 2-step RPM there (for LT5, set it to 8500 RPM). Then to launch, spray the NOS just before staging starts, then hold the clutch and the gas and it will float on 8500 RPM.
Engine damage was in the game since day 1 of the release
