I love this. It’s a perfect example how David takes an older classic and transforms it into something really special. He did this at the Barn Bash last September and it was incredible. Thanks Josh!
Oh awesome. Yeah he never lets us down that’s for sure
Thank you for continuing your reactions to David Phelps! In my opinion, he's the best. As a subscriber, I'd like to say how much I enjoy your channel! You seem to have a strong belief in our Heavenly Father, and I appreciate that so much. My grandfather was a minister, so I grew up listening to gospel/hymns, Bible reading, and prayers. May I suggest the following: For These Tears I Died (David and his daughters, Callie & Maggie Beth) and Hello Beautiful. Again, thank you.
Thank you Linda! Appreciate your support of the channel! I do have a great love for Christ! My grandfather sang gospel music in a quartet growing up, an I did for a while as well. I’ve always loved gospel music. The message and harmony! It’s my fav. Which is rare in my generation haha. So I’m kind of a loaner on that haha.
Love David Phelps
Same here!
Love it that his daughters are singing with him still. So wonderful. Of course harmonies are effortless with family.
As always! Yeah fun to see his daughters supporting him like that.
Charlotte went to nursing school and is now working in that profession. She still goes to the Gaither Homecoming gatherings though.
Wow! That's wonderful!!
Oh cool! Thanks for the info!
She works in the NICU.
Beautiful!❤
Yes!
He is 54 now, still so good and even better with age.❤
Agree!
This is phabulous… saw him in concert at Olive Branch, MS and in Talledega, AL… wonderful - just wonderful… He’s the best!!!❤
Greg & Charlotte Ritchie are no longer with David… I think she finished her nursing degree… however, she & Greg do perform with Bill Gaither some.
Interesting thanks for the info!
Great harmonies on this song! He uses a bunch of his different techniques! I recently saw Charlotte in the background of a Gaither vocal band video and was concerned as she didn’t look well. Praying she’s doing ok.
Interesting. Which video so you remember?

I just read she was struck with Bells Palsy and is recovering slowly, but is still singing beautifully!
He sang it at the Barn Bash a couple years ago. Charlotte, Greg and Jack Daniels all left in 2019.
Wow! I noticed some 'regulars' were missing! And I noticed the new faces, especially Walker Burroughs. Didn't know him from AI, so I looked him up. Thanks for your comment!
Who is Jack? Is he the guy that plays the piano like in the freedom concert?
@@joshmurrayreactions yes, he plays many instruments and sings backup, he's very talented.
I really really love this!
Agree completely.
Love David Phelps and loved your reaction.
Thank you!
