    Another great video, Tom.
I like it that you and Josh post videos both jointly and independently, it allows us to see the differences in approach, but also the similarities.
Some great shots, I love the oast houses at 3:55 and some of the dilapidated farm outbuildings. You have nailed the exposure perfectly, great detail in the shadows and no blown highlights.
I must get some Fomapan 200, I have a 100 foot bulk of Fomapan 100, plus 50 ft of Orwo UN54 to get through before I order any more (plus 50 ft of Kodak Vision3 500T colour - like Cinestill 800 but with the remjet left on).
I must get out and whip through a few cassettes ;-)
P.S. What was in the sandwich? lol
    George

Hey George how’s things hope your ok and thank you for your kind words me and josh have different idea on where to shoot and on what film and camera so it’s nice to have the freedom to just throw a camera in my bag or over my shoulder and just go get use to a new camera or try a new film stock and practice the craft.
Sounds like you have a lot of film to get through and foma 100 is a lovely film stock and haven’t tried Kodak vision yet might try the cinestill 400 d that’s just come out as it’s the same film with the rimjet layer removed lol 😂
So I have two questions for you
What camera is your favourite camera at the moment??
What is your favourite film stock both black and white and colour??
And my sandwich was Tescos meal deal cheese and ham lol
Thank you once again for your kind words ☮️ ❤️ 🎞 Tom and josh

@@OnlyAnalogue Thanks for the reply, Tom.
Favourite camera? Ooh, that's a difficult one, I have so many cameras and lenses.
My favourite 35mm, at the moment, is a Pentax SP1000, I got it a while ago and didn't use it straight away. I have so many M42 lenses, pretty much the entire Pentax range in 50-58mm focal length, but the 50mm f1.4 radioactive lens on that body is just sublime.
As you know, I have been venturing into Medium Format and have just bought and had a pro2 service done on a 1957 Yashica-Mat 2 1/4" square TLR, in absolutely mint condition. I'm just in the process of putting a roll of Fomapan 100 through it to check it out. It's so clean and nice I'm almost afraid to use it. However, my fav. medium format camera is my Bronica S2A, but it's a beast to carry any distance, so it's really only used when I can get close with the car, LOL.
Film? Well, from the old days, any of the FP range (used to be FP3 back in the day) for pin sharp negs. Either Colour Plus or Ektar in the colour range - Ektar is sublime in 2 1/4 square format.
      Great questions mate.

Nice! You've got to love 'em rubber boots 😁 Very moody pictures. Fomapan seems just the right film for that. Also, it looks like you had some filters on. Love it!

Hey thank you for the support yer got a soft spot for Hunter wellies plus where I live you kind of need them lol also I agree with you with the fomapan it sort of a moody contrasty film stock so it does look like a filter was used but I didn’t use one once again thank you for your feedback and support ☮️ ❤️ 🎞

@@OnlyAnalogue just picked up (dont laugh) a Praktica BX20 for £9. with a decent lens and a working battery. Might not be a Canon AL-1 but its a pretty good camera for less than a tenner.

Nice video, great soundtrack but you are wasting film with your loading method. You should get 38 sometimes 39 shots from a " 36 " exp. roll. How many images did you get from that roll ?

    • @OnlyAnalogue

Thanks for watching and I did get a few extra shoot on the roll think it was 38 total but nothing worth putting in the video cheers for the heads up tho happy shooting

      @OnlyAnalogue 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Hey the al1 has both full manual mode and aperture-priority mode I used the camera in both modes as I was learning how good the meter in the camera is hope this helps ☮️ ❤️ 🎞
