Music in the background is a total waste of time as I'm sure no one can hear you properly. 3.4 is a good price, nice big property. Not sure if you have to pay 10% tax extra so will have to fork out another 340,000. I never understand why these new builds never have enough electricity sockets. Great video keep them coming.
The music, to me anyway, sounds like your phone going off in your pocket. But any louder and we wouldn't be able to hear you clearly. So my vote is don't bother.... great as they are!
Thank you for the videos. I arrived in Chiangmai last Wednesday and loving it! In this video you mention “Western“ and “Thai” style kitchens. What is a “Thai “ kitchen like? Maybe that could be in one of your future videos?
I assume (correct me if I’m wrong) but things like a dishwasher, full size ovens with stove, and microwaves are appliances that are “western” and unlikely in he Thai style
great vid jon, looks decent for the price although personally I'm not a fan of moo baans. music could be a tad lower, a lot happening In the music so needs to be a bit quieter when contending with your voice and echos in the empty rooms. maybe that's on my end
Great house! Really like it, but the land around it is TINY!! Not impressed with how close the other houses are! But still.....great house for the money!
Regarding the music! It would be OK at the start and maybe the end? But not all the way through! It got a little tiresome after a while! But good video overall!
Another great video! I suppose it would be good for a young family with a few kids. It is a nice, clean style. That upstairs area is common in the USA, often called a "loft" area. You are exactly right someone will put a couch and maybe a TV there and is an area for the kids. I like the music, maybe just a tad lower.
Fading in music when you're not talking is fine, but please make it a continuation from previous section and not starting over and over. It gets annoying really quickly. 😅
You get to decide how much you want to spend and what kind of kitchen you want @Shoor3563. Thai kitchens are very inexpensive. If you want a Western kitchen, it's usually a few thousand to 5 thousand dollars/pounds/euros depending on what currency you are using and how expensive your appliances are. This is no different that anywhere else in the world. The more you want, the more you pay.
You really should encourage your viewers to consider the context of living somewhere like that in Thailand. Without family, friends, and (if you're retired) a job, what do you do all day living in a location like that? Is there real value in a location like that for retirees if they have to drive 20 minutes to do anything in the city? Put another way, would you have wanted to live somewhere like that when you first arrived in Thailand? Or would it have made you isolated, lonely, and depressed?
I think a place like this will be great for some people but not for others, all depends on the person. I just like to show what is available in Chiang Mai :) Thanks for your comment Jim.
If you have pets, or want to have pets, a place like this...not necessarily this one...is what is required. Now, if you're not a pet person and you need to be in the thick of it all with city noises, car/scooter pollution etc. then go live in the city. Different people like different things, and these videos are for a variety of people with varying needs, not just YOU. @jim6799

Thanks for the feedback mate, trying something a bit new :) No tax to pay on top, this price includes the transfer fee as well :)
@@jondcanton thanks for answer, in that case I think its a bargain

no music please 🙏
👍
agree
Great blog like always mate .Take care.
thanks mate :)
Great video as always..I really appreciate for your hard work to show the viewers various options to think of.
Thanks so much!
Brilliant mate, such incredible value. A lovely family home in a nice neighbourhood for $100,000 is mind blowing.
Yep, not bad at all!
No music please! The house looks beautiful and would look even better after the green yards around.
👍
Wow house look big and beautiful. Like rich surburb
Yep really great place 😀
Music is fine, like the house. Agree with another comment on the lack of outlets is an issue. Again thanks for the leg work Jon.
Thanks Tony, yeah I agree that could be a problem :) Got a special one coming tomorrow, where there is no such issue in the house :)

Thanks Bill. Yeah Western kitchen is what you’d be used to having in the West. Thai style is very basic usually with just a gas hob 😀

Thanks for the feedback on the music mate :)
Listening at 04:55 there popped up a question. Is the music coming from speakers down the street?
Haha that was not the intention 😂
@@jondcanton 555 !
Music is too loud
Thanks for the feedback mate!

Are they out of reach of tsunamis?
Yep Chiang Mai is miles away from the sea 😀
@@jondcanton😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🎉
Music or talking, but not both at the same time.
👍 thanks for your feedback mate
No air conditioning? I didn't see any units.
Ah that’s a good point, I’m not sure if this includes AC or if you’d need to install it yourself
Please stop spinning the camera. The wide angle makes the motion sickness much worse. Love the content.
Thanks for the feedback, yeah I’ll try and make things smoother 😀
Music = no. I just find it a bit distracting. Harder to make out what you are saying. Sorry.
Thanks for the feedback mate 👍
They should be built with fully undercover Car spaces. Half in half out doesn't seem like a good idea.
Yeah lots of people extend theirs when they buy, no real restricts on modifying your own house in Thailand 😀

4 bedroom Damm maybe 🤔 I should make farang baby 🫢 the woman say they look cute 🤓😅

No kitchen?
Yeah you’d need to install one yourself in this house
