  • Hey team! Welcome back. This week we document how we spent 3 days at Cradle Mountain National Park. We break down the 3 days of walking we did from shorter walks, to the big Dove Lake extended circuit including the summit. It gives you a good break down of nearly all the walks on offer so you can do the research you need for your trip.

I’m glad you loved this edit. I definitely loved filming and editing this one! Shane loved the fishing ones more but it’s nice to do a more travel Vlog style once in a while haha.
We did the same for Taranaki and by the time we got to the top it was then roasting 😂 can never win hey haha

thanks for the video, guys. Amazing. When did you do this, guys? I'm from Victoria and playing to visit Cradle Mountains and do the pinnacle walk in early winter (June over the King's birthday weekend). Not sure whether thats a good idea though :P

So stoked it was helpful for you! We did this in January so peak summer and it was still freezing cold haha. Honestly we think the weather could be cold and wet anytime of year. Just keep an eye on the forecast and make a final decision on the walk you do closer to the time. At least it won't be anywhere near as busy that time of year!

@@lifeina4wd Thanks a lot for connecting! That's what I think; check the weather forecast before a few days. Even now it is -2c or something. I haven't done a winter hike before. Btw, I'm using the same Garmin device, the 66i, that you guys are using, haha, a good buy. I did Mount Bogong and Mount feathertop hikes recently, and I am now looking to go outside Victoria for a hike. I'm about to book the spirit of Tasmania :D excited!. Wish me luck :D. All the very best with your travels!!! stay safe. cheers

Haha he did try to do a bit of fishing at Lake Lea but it was soooo windy so he bailed pretty quick smart. He literally said though "why are we videoing when we aren't fishing" hahaha. Glad we did though, loved filming and editing this one.
Haha no goose bumps actually, it really wasn't that bad surprisingly. It's amazing - Shane will stand waist deep in that water if he might catch a fish but to wash himself, not a chance haha. Thanks so much for watching as always!

Denali in Alaska plays hide and seek with me every time I’m up there. Dang clouds make you question it’s existence😂 I totally understand.
That is some beautiful land you’re exploring.
