I came to this video because I was trying to find out the obsession with celery and I didn’t remember it from Portugal (aipo in Portuguese supposedly). My parents must have been haters of celery such as myself because they were excellent cooks both of them and they have never once used celery in their cooking.
Thanks so much for this Cinnamon. I plan to bring a checklist of seasonings and other items to check out when I come over and go to the grocery stores. Also I 'm curious to know if there are other ethnic grocery stores. I'm hoping that the locals will be able to let me know what would be the equivalent to an item not found. Obviously you can tell that I like to cook. But thanks again, this video was quite helpful.❤
So glad it was helpful! Yes, there are ethnic grocery stores. If you can't find it in stores many online retailers within Europe will deliver. You can also ask the restaurants staff when you're dinning. I found some gems that way.
