Brother, I don't usually sub to anyone, let alone on first video, but you deserve it. You're very knowledgeable (spent quite a bit of time working out with bodyweight, Tsatsouline, my fav guy, also Convict Conditioning, my bible, instantly recognised all this) and you've got future in this. Your easy going personality makes everything about it so much better, almost "hey, anyone can do it, it's so easy" feel about it, that's a great pick me up when rest of us are running on empty motivation tank.
one thing you can do is buy giant resistance bands, and put one end under your feet, and the other end tied around the bar, and it helps lift you up when your practicing. Thats how i got good at them
So I stumbled across Hampton on accident but immediately appreciated his humble and encouraging attitude. I have never been good at pull-ups and just blew them off for 20 years (and it shows). I decided to go see where I am at based on the scaled versions Hampton presents and I am back at the hanging level...I am going to see where I can progress in a year with his scaled calisthenics.

First watched this vid before I could do any pullups, followed it along for a few weeks and now I can do multiple. Thx for the advice!
In two years I went from not being to do any pullups to being able to do 2 pull-ups and 3 chin ups consistently :)
I mean, nice work keep going, bit if you're programming correctly you should go from 0 to at least 8 in about 2 months.
One more thing. Hampton I appreciate your methods and the kind atmosphere that surrounds you. It’s something I try to do myself to help motivate and benefit those around me. You’re very informative and I always look forward to your videos. Thanks, and I hope you have a beautiful day as well!!

Does this guy have one of Greg’s cookbook? 😅

Recently I wrote a client "have a wonderful day". Hampton, please get out of my brain!

I gave up on pull ups two months ago, will give it one more try after seeing this video!!!
one thing you can do is buy giant resistance bands, and put one end under your feet, and the other end tied around the bar, and it helps lift you up when your practicing. Thats how i got good at them
Been watching your channel for a little while . You’ve definitely been building muscle since then.
You'll have to rename your channel "Hybrid CaliTHICCNESS" soon! Look at those guns! 💪💪
