I could see very easily smashing ones face into the hatch opening while driving this - my god did that look dangerous the drivers head and body rocking forward and back as the BMP runs over uneven ground! Do these type of injuries happen frequently esp while training new drivers? Or is it just the camera angle giving the illusion of that much body movement of the driver? I would not feel comfortable driving one of these if you move that much in the seat while the hatch is open - but I still think the BMP is a very cool vehicle - Ive built a few scale models of them over the years. I also really like the MT-LB 6M and the BMPT-72.

Not for the driver, no. But the commander might get thrown around for trying to do other shit while the driver goes crazy
