It's because he is a member of the mahlabezulu of Mzilikazi Khumalo nation who relocated from KZN to build Mhlahlandlela near present day Tshwane then eGabeni and Mosega then ultimately to present day Zimbabwes western part called Matabeleland, after fighting off uDingane who had succeeded uShaka. So vele his ancestors/amadlozi are found in KZN 👊

They never SA border to Zimbabwe, they were travelling from central Africa to SA others they get tired and settled in Zimbabwe, that is why we have xhosa in Zim venda in Zim sotho in Zim and Zulu in maputo and Zulu in Malawi, until they come to SA and settled here
